The same fans that got drivers license to a top 90 debut on Spotify? :lol: I thought deja vu would do better than this off the bat but it's surely casual interest lacking, not her fans when she's a new artist without much of an established fanbase.

I would say BTS have fans, for instance, but what do I know,

 

Everybody has fans but when it comes to impact its not that big. BTS are coming from a huge market of Asia

I think what he's trying to say is that back in the day you could get 50,000 fans to buy your song, or 5,000 fans if they were multibuyiong, and grab a #1...now to be #1 you need like 5 million streams in 1 week, which fans alone cannot accomplish

 

but still you can get a top 40/100 hit with fans alone, but to have a #1 you need to make a bigger impact

I really hope it ends up stalling in the mid 20’s or something. Can’t think of anything worse than it becoming a top 20 hit.
