Dave has dropped a couple of new songs unannounced, both already top 100 on Apple after only ~4 hours! ('Titanium' at #55, 'Mercury' at #88). Interested to see if they could be dark horse contenders this week or if they'll stall quickly.

Dave is gonna be #1 this week then. He could surpass Lil Nas X daily total on spotify by Monday. I can see him doing 500k and closing the gap. Plus he'll have a huge lead on Apple.

If Dave was going to challenge for #1 officially he'd be top 5 on Apple already and he's only #13. Sure he'll debut high but can't see him out-doing LNX.

Dave at #8 and #20 now on Apple Music. Wonder if they’ll get a decent Spotify debut even with only having a few hours
Having listened to both the Dave tracks now, I can't see them being massive. They're both pretty throwaway (he even says they're not good enough to be included on the new album on Mercury lol) but I imagine they will debut high due to his name. I can't see them hanging around for long afterwards though.

I agree, they both seem a bit basic and nothing special, especially ‘titanium’ and it’s way too short also. Think it will debut high then flop after that.

Seems these are a bit more 'Paper Cuts' style quick loosies than the proper start of a new era but that they've still got off to such a big start once again just shows how much demand there is for new stuff from him, can see his next album doing pretty huge numbers.
so before the album,Dave is giving us the leftovers that didn't make it? :D
If the first albums anything to go by anything will be quality!
