Posted April 11, 20214 yr 700Nvfa4wHk Lest we forget, as well as entertainment, Drag Race is a tv show and big business for its producers. How long will this stay up before they try and take it down, I wonder...? Tea includes that contestants are legally obligated after appearing on one season to drop everything and appear when called up by producers to appear on up to 5 more seasons, and that WOW can veto any content made by every queen for 12 months after their season finishes airing.
April 13, 20214 yr Honestly, NDAs/veto thing is sort of standard. Of course they wouldn't want contestants to go around bad-mouthing the show or reveal too much of how the show is made. But that they're tied to the show for potentially five more seasons? Although I've heard of those sort of contracts before in scripted - the reason why Stephanie Beacham appeared in the last season of Dynasty was because she had signed a five year contract with Aaron Spelling's production company when she signed on to do The Colbys. Obviously there's usually wiggle room around these sort of things (I expect there's going to be some sort of compensation clause for the Queens since it would be unreasonable for them to drop everything otherwise). April 29, 20214 yr it's also said how well the producers and the acts get on... so whilst it's business, it's not a britney sitch.
