It was great seeing one of their newer albums getting so well rated, i think many fans like myself were so impressed when they returned with TOTD as they really couldnt have came back with a better album.

Im not surprised at the 3 all tied on the top votes but i thought Buzz was more popular with fans but it looks like fans rate it lower than some albums like myself.

Paradise Lost certainly feels like a missed out single, it's my second favourite song after The way you make me feel.

Paradise lost

Here and now / You'll be sorry

 

I do think it would have been 4th single had there been one.

 

 

I also think that Love u more should have been released as a final single from Step One after Better best forgotten:

 

Love u more / Back to you double a-side. I'm sure this would have been another top 5 if not top 2 single for them at the time.

Love You More and Back To You would have made a sizzling single and an easy Top 10 as they are wonderful songs. That said, if it happened Step One could have become an early Greatest Hits.

Paradise Lost like the above songs are widely fan popular and could have been a Top 5 hit for Steps and fits the bill of a missed opportunity.

These 3 songs need to be included on a future Best Of release.

Back you and paradise lost are 2 of my fave steps songs especially back to you although some people think back to you is a copy of Janet Jackson's together again single. Step one would have easily got away with having another single as they were huge at that time and would gave safely got another top 10 hit.

Steps deliver value for money albums as they don't deliver albums with material of poor quality outside the chosen singles.

Apart from LUTW I do love all their albums and I have to say I never expected such a strong album such as TOTD when they returned.

Tears on the Dancefloor was a huge Steps treat for fans.

They delivered a great ear party.
