Gonna go with Albania here. I have it in my lower teens. I have a niggling feeling that the juries will go for it.

Norway.

Its odds are strong but the fan predictions are not, lots of people don’t think it will qualify but I think it will do pretty well in the final.

Belgium will either to a Common Linnet or just sink. I think it’ll do the former.

I also think Czech Republic will outperform expectations.

Czech Republic I could see as the token top 10 modern banger

look like you're predicting a Wrong Place for them to finish at xx

Common Linnets had charm and personality, this is just bland and uneventful af with no redeeming qualities. Plus last year's controversy, etc. I highly doubt this will come anywhere near a Q spot

I don’t believe the average viewer knows about their aloof attitude from last year. And I thought CATS was utterly forgettable and bland. I think Wrong Place has a quality that could really captivate.

Yeah I don't think the attitude of Hooverphonic will have any noticeable effect (the most I can see the commentators mentioning is 'these guys were due to represent Belgium last year, this time they have a different vocalist' but even then they probably wouldn't even say anything to suggest it wasn't a mutual parting of ways). If it doesn't qualify, I think it'll be due to messing up the staging (quite likely for Belgium), the song itself deserves a spot in the final imo.

Agree that a lot of these mentioned so far could end up surpassing expectations. My personal picks would be Russia and Germany - I still see people thinking that Germany is a potential last place and I'm not buying it, the pictures from the back-up performance make the staging look fun and I think it'll rack up a rather decent televote score.

I personally think Estonia may qualify. It's an easily accessible pop song and the singer is attractive so it could manage to impress both the juries and televoters enough to qualify in like 8th-10th place and then wind up somewhere between 15th-20th in the final.
Part of me thinks United Kingdom can get the best position since Blue

I'd be happy with Estonia qualifying but it has a tough job.

Calm After the Storm came alive on stage. The Wrong Place may do the same. At the moment I can't stand it.
Azerbaijan should surprise us! Only low top 20 in odds but will definitely end in the top 10 if not top 5.

I think the bookies are underestimating Czech Republic.

The Wrong Place will probably perform similarly to A Matter of Time.

Portugal. A Pasha-lookalike (without the fedora) sounding like Mick Hucknall.
I'm expecting Austria and North Macedonia to battle for this year's jury's votes, but only 1 of them will be the 'lucky' country. :P

Poland is extremely low with the bookies which I don’t understand at all as to me it’s an absolutely stinking tune. So I certainly hope it does better than expected.

In the fan preview event I went to last week it came 19th, which is at least much better than the bookies’ rating.
