Time to find out what is Buzzjack's favourite record of 2006 in a FAIR competition where hormonal teenage girls can't vote in their droves for the yearly Westlife/McFly c**p.

Over the next 6 weeks 42 of 2006's biggest hits will be whittled down to a final 12 which will be counted down on Sunday December 17th.

 

All you have to do is check back every Saturday and vote. Each of the 6 groups has 7 songs in. Rank them from 1 (Your fave) to 7 (Your least fave). The 2 with the most points from each group will get a place in the final.

 

With so many big hits and so many music tastes to cater for - everything can't be included but a selection of 2006's biggest hits whether they've been #1, or just sold loads or had massive chart runs have been selected.

I really like the top 4. It's a shame they're all in the same group in a way, but I think this is the best group of songs in this so far. This is the first one where I've quite liked all 7 songs, although I have gone of The Ordinary Boys in a big way, and I've never particularly cared for the Pussycat Dolls.

I actually LOVE them all, but Maneater is my favourite song of the year so... :wub: The Top4 were all so close though, Fires is one of my albums of the year, as is I'm Not Dead and PCD. -_-
