April 23, 20215 yr Ella and Tom finally top 10 :D Had hoped Imelda May would stay top 5 in the albums but happy she is gone top 10. Edited April 23, 20215 yr by Feel_The_Fever
April 23, 20215 yr The OCC website is now crediting Tion Wayne as the first billed artist on 'Body' - I noticed that the credits on it were flipped on the remix for some reason but odd that the OCC have changed it as well especially as the original version's credits haven't been changed! Also interesting to note that 'What's Next' has fallen behind both 'Lemon Pepper Freestyle' and 'Wants And Needs' this week, the latter has now climbed quite a bit on Spotify so I wonder if it might actually end up unexpectedly becoming the longest lasting hit from 'Scary Hours 2' after all :drama: And I see The Snuts ended up with a 1-17-out chart run, nearly exactly mirroring Mogwai then.
April 23, 20215 yr Perfect dropped out of singles chart. It was in weird decline before that too: 57-69-79-77-81-84-88-88-100 Over 40 spots in 9 weeks! Also, 12 year old Gaga album more relevant than Drake wbk 91 90 Lady Gaga ~ The Fame 100 88 Drake ~ Scorpion Edited April 23, 20215 yr by Sour Candy
April 23, 20215 yr Album with 196 weeks in the chart is very marginally ahead of album with 132 weeks in the chart, highly relevant observation
April 23, 20215 yr Also interesting to note that 'What's Next' has fallen behind both 'Lemon Pepper Freestyle' and 'Wants And Needs' this week, the latter has now climbed quite a bit on Spotify so I wonder if it might actually end up unexpectedly becoming the longest lasting hit from 'Scary Hours 2' after all :drama: I always though “Wants and Needs” was the catchiest of the 3 especially the chorus and was surprised it performed the worst (well in the U.K. anyhow). Globally :Lemon Pepper” did the worst.
April 23, 20215 yr 'Lemon Pepper Freestyle' has been really overperforming in the UK compared to everywhere else in the world since its release for god knows what reason (I think there has been a minor trend of UK artists making their own freestyles over the song's instrumental which may possibly have something to do with it?) - I think 'Wants And Needs' may have just been a bigger hit from the beginning if it had been the more promoted song with a music video etc. instead of 'What's Next'. It's been making a resurgence on Spotify in both the US and the UK in just the last week or so, so I have to assume it's been picking up traction on TikTok (I can't find any direct evidence of that being the case but that's usually the answer whenever anything like this happens ) 'What's Next' was originally my favourite of the 3 but I think I am enjoying 'Wants And Needs' more now as well.
April 23, 20215 yr First new top 75 hit for Fat Joe in 16 years, not a name I had been expecting to see back until this song started doing consistently well on iTunes! Pleased for Ella Henderson to get another top ten hit where she is the first credited artist. I really thought dance features would be her only chance at success these days!
April 24, 20215 yr Author Perfect dropped out of singles chart. It was in weird decline before that too: 57-69-79-77-81-84-88-88-100 Over 40 spots in 9 weeks! the evil is defeated!! Text OPs are now up.
April 24, 20215 yr Levitating now the highest placed song on ACR - it climbed 14-8 on audio streaming and 27-17 on video, here's hoping that's enough for a reset.
April 24, 20215 yr Looking at the sales figures around it, it might just have fallen short of returning to SCR, but I bet we'll have the proper list soon.
April 25, 20215 yr First new top 75 hit for Fat Joe in 16 years, not a name I had been expecting to see back until this song started doing consistently well on iTunes! Pleased for Ella Henderson to get another top ten hit where she is the first credited artist. I really thought dance features would be her only chance at success these days! Was gonna say, it’s been consistently in the iTunes top 40 since January. Wonder if it’ll be a huge summer hit when spotify catches up.
