It was in the period with pubs open, so it wasn't as bad as some people's!

I’ve just started watching the reunion show from 2011 for the first time since about 2013 I think and it’s pretty enjoyable.

Will move on to the On The Road series after I finish it.

I loved the reunion show, I thought it was put together really well and felt very real.

I agree, I’m halfway through now and it’s been done fantastically.

For me it highlights the tolls the music industry can take on young adults or singers in general.

It def did and I think they gave the whole story and not just parts of it, it helped make the split far more understandable and in ways relatable to how many people may feel in a normal working environment when a team dont communicate properly or miscommunicate far too often. I think the reformed Steps are all generally in a better place and are now genuine friends where as first time round it seemed they were more work colleagues. For me though and maybe I'm wrong H played a big role in them having fall outs which lead to the split especially his relationship with their manager.

Maybe I took it up wrong but I dont think h and lee really had much of a friendship first time round as in the programme there relationship seemed to have needed more work than the others. I think Lisa came across as the most hurt about the split.

The H’s relationship with their manager would’ve played a huge part.

It also looked like H and Lee’s friendship needed the most work, it’s great they were able to connect.

I think away from the band their personalities would not be friends.

Lee comes across as a very down to earth caring person, H on the other hand appears very self centred.

H to me doesnt come across all that nice so I'd say off camera he wouldnt be the nicest of celebs to meet but I could be wrong.
Yeah, H doesn't come across the nicest of people. I feel like Faye is the nicest of the bunch.

I think faye and lee come across the nicest and genuine, claire seems sound enough to and came across well on big brother, lisa I'd find hard to predict i would kind of expect her to be a little stand off ish and h I just think would be an ass.

Let's try and be respectful, I know we can have opinions, but let's not make this a H hate thread!!

A friend of mine who wasn't keen on him years ago said that H was incredibly nice and attentive during a meet and greet, so there's something positive...

Fair enough I didnt mean for my comment to come across as a h hate thread as I dont hate him at all its more he is my least liked member but he helps make steps what they are
Hopefully I didn’t come acorns that way, I do like him as I like all members. I think he’s shown a lot of maturity and growth.

I was in shock! They really got me through some times back then. I didn’t see it coming at all and was quite sad about it for some weeks.
