Live Christmas Chart Countdown 22nd December

Early this week as i have a buuuuusy weekend ahead xmas party :cheer:, also ive realised ive this isnt my 52nd chart its my 55th lol must of miscounted when i did ages ago :unsure:. A new record is made this week as Jamelia "Beware Of The Dog" spends over 7 weeks on the top beating Shakira's "Hips Dont Lie" as its now had 8 weeks on the top. Jamelia is still however at #3 in the YTD charts and this year it doesnt look like it will be able to get to number 1, but its not far at all behind the number 2 which is Sugababes "Easy". This is also the sixth time there has been no new entries inside the top 10, last time being 13 weeks ago.

This weeks highest new entry comes from the festive Ricky Tomlinson's "Christmas My Arse" as it enters at #13 and will most likely climb in the weeks running upto christmas, also just scraping the top 20 is Sandi Thom's "Lonely Girl". This week also sees new entries at #23 & #34 by Darlene Love & High School Musical respectively, also a re-entry from The Pogues & Kirsty McColl "Fairytale Of New York". Some notable climbs this week come from Booty Luv "Boogie 2Nite" who climb one place to a new peak of #2, Amy Winehouse "You Know Im No Good" climbs 3 places upto #3 beating the peak of last single "Rehab", Sharam's "Party All The Time" which climbs one place to #5, after 3 weeks outside the top 10 P.Diddy & Xtina finally peak inside the top 10 as they climb upto #8. Also, Beyonce's latest offering "Ring The Alarm" drops below last single "Irreplaceable" as it drops to 14 and "Irreplaceable" climbs back into the top 10.
