January 27, 20223 yr Good to see this hopefully coming soon! I think Mirror is one of her weaker songs, and certainly her weakest single, but Burning Bridges was really strong! I agree though, it’s odd not to include Head on Fire but maybe that will be streaming/digital only as a bonus track?
January 27, 20223 yr I'm actually really excited for this, both singles have been excellent and so much better than the material on her debut. I hope something catches on for her, although not hopeful at this point. I just saw she's apparently headlining the SSE in November, 12,500 capacity. Surely that's a bit ambitious? :o
January 27, 20223 yr Author Strange that she’s not included Head On Fire?If it's taken into consideration that the vinyl packaging leaked and it takes more time to be done due to COVID-19 nowadays, I assume that "Head On Fire" was recently recorded and it might be included on streaming and digital platforms. Anyway, I'm expecting a Q1 release at the latest because everything seems to be done, which will not make that the physical releases (CD and LP) to be available later than streaming and digital releases.
January 28, 20223 yr Author "In The Dark" is slated to be the next single to be released.Available to pre-save and pre-add on streaming platforms. Teaser: TikTok.
March 9, 20223 yr Author "In the Dark" will be out next Wednesday."In The Dark" is available now. Premiered as the Hottest Record on Radio 1. @1501624992185954309
March 9, 20223 yr I like it gets dark. It’s different to the other three songs she has done recently but all really consistent. What order do you rank them? 1. Burning bridges 2. Mirror 3. It gets dark 4. Head on fire
March 9, 20223 yr She seriously is so much better this era it's unreal. I'm hoping this can do the business, every single song deserves to have been a huge smash!
March 10, 20223 yr I love ‘It Gets Dark’ it just feels as though it could build up even more at the end for another minute and feel even more theatrical! Feels like quite a different type of song for her.
March 11, 20223 yr Author The album is available for pre-order with an alternate artwork and there will be an exclusive track on DSPs called "Bad Life", which was co-written with Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish from Bring Me The Horizon. View this post on Instagram
March 11, 20223 yr Doesn't anyone else get similarities with empire - Shakira in some parts? Yes!! Was literally just thinking the same!
March 11, 20223 yr Burning Bridges still remains my favourite so far (if Head on Fire doesn’t count!) as it’s an absolute monster of a pop song. It’s nice to have something a bit ‘tamer’ with ‘It Gets Dark’ though, a nice slight change in style. Really looking forward to the album!
May 6, 20223 yr The album is out now! It Gets Dark, Burning Bridges, Mirror and A Driver Saved My Night are definitely my highlights, not feeling the rest so much yet.
May 6, 20223 yr Absolutely adore Bad Life, one of the best songs of the year so far but the album kind of let me down. The single choices were great but the rest don't live up sadly :(
