October 31, 20231 yr I think, presuming Felicia doesn’t miraculously win out for the next two HOHs, this will be the worst final 3 we’ve had, for me. Even on horrendous seasons like say BB22, Cody played a perfect game, BB19, Josh winning was satisfying, BB21, at least Nicole was there, none of these 3 to me have any redeeming qualities. Jag has already been unanimously evicted, he is an absolutely terrible player who just happens to win comps. And for me that isn’t Big Brother, if you want to do that go on The Challenge. He’s gotten really nasty with power as well, on some Stanford Prison Experiment shit. I truly believe if he wins (which I definitely see happening), he is easily top 3 worst players to win, if not the worst. Matt has kind of been just there and comes across as an awful person on feeds. Absolutely vile towards America, Andrew Tate vibes, just not nice at all, also quite creepy with Reilly tbh it’s unsettling lmao Bowie is one of the most pointless HGs ever. Somehow her winning 2 HOHs makes her even worse, like at least with say Victoria it was camp that she never did anything. Bowie legit basically just wanted to sublet her place for the summer and save some rent but she accidentally won a HOH and somehow another and is sitting there like she’s Janelle Pierzina. And those 3 are now bullying, freezing out and trying to “psychologically torture” (baaiclalg their words) two women over 50  The two women who have played the shit out of a REAL game of Big Brother and got nothing for it. For me the comps are the main issue, they’ve casted absolutely excellent reality TV characters like Cirie, Blue and Izzy, but the comps are still set up for athletic males to win. I just don’t feel like in a social game they should matter as much as they do but for that to be the case, there needs to be equitable comps where you don’t just have the same people winning everything. I mean Michael breaking the comp record felt like a huge thing, Jag and Cameron winning so much just makes it seem like an issue that detracts from the show. That and the twists for me, Jag’s eviction being nullified but especially the zombie twist that made 2 weeks of the game not matter as well as the existing week where Jag came back, and it killed all momentum the show had while it limped on for another 50 days. It might have been an ok twist had it been after maybe Izzy and Hisam were evicted, but two of the worst houseguests we were dying to get rid of, it killed momentum and just felt not needed at all. It’s such a shame to end the season feeling like this, up until about when Izzy went this was shaping up to be a really top tier season. Take the twists out and make it the usual 70-80 days or so and it would have probably been great still, better than it ended up at least. But anyway, Cirie and Felicia were both excellent casting decisions and I’ve loved seeing them this entire time killing it.
November 4, 20231 yr Looks like Jag is going to cut Matt!! He won the veto so has the vote I hope they all backstab each other and take Felicia to F2 thinking she’s easy to win over and the jury vote Felicia to win
November 4, 20231 yr PLEASE!!!! (although I'd rather a Matt win over Jag) I saw a tweet saying a Felicia win would be the greatest advert for Christianity yet
November 5, 20231 yr I clocked out because the same two winning competitions makes me want to watch paint dry instead but would very much be here for a shock Felicia win!
November 6, 20231 yr Apparently Jag went to the diary room for an hour and then suddenly came out and was keeping Matt…. I’m sick of Grodner doing anything to keep her golden children, same with Cameron. Idk why because it’s not like Matt is popular with the audience. I think he wins now as the only person Jag beats out of the top 5 entirely is Bowie, I do think even if Jag wins HOH he is stupid enough to take Matt. Matt is an awful winner just like the other two, hasn’t really done anything of note in the game and is a misogynistic Andrew Tate stan obsessed with slagging off America weeks after she left the house. As awful bitter jury as this sounds, let FBJ win at this point
November 6, 20231 yr Author I’m just so happy this is finally wrapping up. I love Big Brother but this season has been a chore at times. We can’t be too upset with the final result, Jag and Matt as F2 (if that does happen) it’s just like any other M/M Final 2 that we’ve had in Big Brother History, but this does look and feel different. Even if Big Brother isn’t going to change the formula on how they get their winner, at least they’ve changed the formula to be more inclusive. But with that being said, CHANGE YOUR FORMULA. We are heading in a direction of this being a Competition Based Reality Show like Survivor and The Challenge. I need Big Brother to lean more on the strategical side with it’s execution and the only way they are going to do this is if they stop creating these comp beasts and recycle these competitions over and over. The biggest accomplishment this season? Probably diversity. Yes, we did have someone expelled for using a slur. But what other RTV show would have Cirie and Felicia in the Final 5. Pre-Jury was unfortunately for me where the game lost the plot. Cirie quickly grabbed control with some numbers but let this slip through her fingers. She got bored and wanted to be flashy and it cost her. Booting Hisam was a mistake. Cirie didn’t need a shield at that point, but getting rid of her shield at this point wasn’t a smart move. Izzy was a huge loss for me as well. The Zombie week was probably the worst week in Big Brother History? So unnecessary. The Jury phase was just overly predictable with the boot order and was frustrating to watch. I could easily swap out a few on the pre-jury for jurors and be happy. I really need Bowie Jane out 3rd to make this season acceptable to me. Let Matt and Jag really fight it out for the winning position. If either of them win and take BJ I don’t think I would respect their win as much. I’m not sure if I have a preference for a winner at this point. Matt has always been on my radar as a potential rootable winner, however, his story isn’t as strong as Jag’s. Matt fumbled his end game with his inability to keep the numbers and have Jag stand out as a competition threat. As an ‘idea-man’ I don’t think Matt’s strategic ability rises to the top of his resume either. I’d make the argument that Jag had a better strategic game (at the endgame) and was calling more shots. Jag, of course, WAS EVICTED 10-0 and was saved by Matt. However, if we aren’t going to root for someone that wins a Buy-Back, why have the buy-back in the first place? If Janelle returned in Season 14 after being evicted, was a comp beast and made F2, we would all be rooting for her to win. CBS already has an eliminated winner from Survivor in its collection and their initial storyline was not successful, they weren’t deemed as a worthy winner. I hope for Jag (if he does win) that the narrative here is a bit different. I however don’t think calling yourself a comp beast against 2 senior citizens and Bowie Jane is a big accomplishment. If you really wanted the title of Comp Beast you would have at least gone head to head with someone like Hisam or Cameron and neither Matt or Jag really went head to head with a big competitor.
November 6, 20231 yr Author Also what is this Winter Season that Julie teased? BBOTT2? All Winners? Legends? Celebrity Big Brother? BB v Survivor v Amazing Race v The Challenge? I’ve heard rumblings of all.
November 7, 20231 yr Yeah, I haven't even been rooting for Jag but I'm bored of the "he was unanimously evicted!!!1" argument. Almost everyone gets unanimously evicted for starters. Not a flawless resume by any means but I can usually respect a comeback story like his. Overall I can at least consider this a mid-tier season, still better than 21 and 22, just a shame we can't always have a Taylor or Xavier caliber winner. This was the first year I actually felt some discomfort watching the Otev and BB Comics comps, especially the latter knowing Cirie and Felicia had little to no chance. Would love to see them be modified and made more fair.
November 10, 20231 yr Author Matt: I don’t know.. we played rock, paper, scissors. Jag: I BATHED IN YOUR BLOOD. I knew Jag was going to win as he was cutting Bowie, his logic and reasoning came to the table. His answers were complete and he took ownership. I thought Matt had this on lock but Jag really stepped up his end game to win, and I think he’s a good winner for the franchise. But yeah this wasn’t a top season for me.
November 10, 20231 yr Cameron winning AFP was even worse than this utterly horrific top 3. Tbh jag deserved to win out of the 3 but he’s still a bottom tier winner. He did slaughter Matt in the jury questions, but I really hesitate to say he played even a decent game. I completely agree this is becoming too physical and with CBS already having Survivor and the Challenge exists, why do they need that? It almost feels like BB is just becoming a factory line to fill up lineups for the Challenge.
November 10, 20231 yr FINAL RANKING 1.) Cory 👑 2.) America 3.) Meme 4.) Felicia 5.) Cirie 6.) Hisam 7.) Blue 8.) Kirsten 9.) Reilly 10.) Jag 11.) Izzy 12.) Matt 13.) FBJ 14.) Red 15.) Jared 16.) Cameron 17.) Luke
November 13, 20231 yr Author 01: Felicia 02: Cirie 03: Jag 04: Matt 05: Izzy 06: America 07: Cory 08: Blue 09: Hisam 10: FBJ 11: Mecole 12: Cameron 13: Reilly 14: Red 15: Jared 16: Kirsten 17: Luke
November 13, 20231 yr 1 Cirie 2 Felicia (genius casting) 3 Matt 4 Cory 5 Izzy 6 America 7 Jag 8 Blue 9 Hisam (his eviction felt like a big move but I worry it set the tone for what came later) 10 Mecole 11 Reilly 12 Cameron 13 Bowie Jane (truly rubbish but the memes are sending me right now) 14 Jared (didn't love him in the house but it kinda got more boring after he went) 15 Kirsten 16 Red 17 Luke (obv)
December 6, 20231 yr Author @1732455011638997380 LOVE First two housemates for Big Brother: Reindeer Games have been announced. They are Taylor Hale (BB24) and Cameron Hardin (BB25) Edited December 7, 20231 yr by Aaron.
December 7, 20231 yr Author Final Cast: Taylor Hale Cody Calafiore Josh Martinez Nicole Franzel Danielle Reyes Frankie Grande Britney Haynes Cameron Hardin Xavier Prather
December 7, 20231 yr Author Low key kinda looking forward to this  No live feeds, I think they’re only in the house for a few hours at a time as well. They are playing for $100k which is crazy. Not me rooting for Nicole tho  I am actively rooting against Cameron, Cody and Frankie. Potentially Josh as well, I’m so hot and cold with him. If the end consisted of Nicole, Taylor, Danielle and Britney. I would be happy. Janelle is going off on Twitter as well. Apparently production reached out to Rachel Reilly but ghosted her after landing Nicole  Edited December 7, 20231 yr by Aaron.
December 12, 20231 yr Author I don’t know why I was expecting this to just be a straight forward “Big Brother” just shorter and at Top 9. I mean, at least some of the competitions should be easy enough for anybody to win. Frankie is gonna keep Cody around tho isn’t he. Rooting for Danielle and Britney.
December 13, 20231 yr Yeah, is this just a fluke or have they decided to have more equitable comps? :o Highlights from episode 1 were: 1) all of Britney's DRs, 2) Taylor eating Lay's, and 3) Xavier pretending to tie his hair like Cameron's. As for episode 2, I think everyone was crazy for throwing the first comp, but they were very lucky the elimination went in their favor anyway, so maybe they'll keep throwing it?
December 14, 20231 yr Author I know - it's great to know they CAN make the comps equitable, but just choose not to  I didn't think this would be as good as what it has been, especially since you have 3-Competitions an episode which can really bloat things up. I think they're doing great with this. But it hasn't been a smash in the Ratings. I was hoping they could find a fixture for us in the off-season, especially to draw out some great legacy players. Easter Games perhaps ? Britney's Diary Rooms have been 10/10. I've been SO EXCITED to see Danielle Reyes back as well, a big highlight for me. Cameron and Cody out first and second? Amazing. I'm hoping Frankie goes next, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone takes a shot at Josh next.
