Posted May 14, 20214 yr Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information. If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. May 14, 20214 yr I thought Patience was already on ACR lmao it has declined so fast. Really looking forward to the chart in two weeks, we'll see some interesting climbers then. Save your tears climbed 3 places into the top 5 but still declined? :unsure: looking like a very short boost for it then! Next week could be a crazy week if all the DCL-2 songs hit acr together! May 14, 20214 yr I'm willing to see every single other song on that DCL-2 list surviving as long as Riton goes. (hoping that ATB, D-Block Europe, Ella Henderson and Mooski will all be gone too at least tho x)

May 14, 20214 yr It's been a while since we've had a massive ACR clearout, always makes for an interesting chart. Would like to see Bed and Save Your Tears increase this week though Don't know if lockdown easing will see streams go up? Doubt it...

May 14, 20214 yr Save Your Tears had a sales increase of around 2,400 and declined - the increase must have been all paid for sales. The performance probably still boosted its streams on Wednesday but just not by enough to make it increase overall for the week, rather just preventing what would have been a bigger decline - it might have a small chance of rising on streams overall next week? (Although I expect any BRITs induced streaming boost would be rather short-lived so probably not). I'm not bothered what happens to it from this point onwards anyway, it's achieved the top 5 peak that it was denied the other week anyway and it's already had a really good run, it's served its purpose.
May 14, 20214 yr Funny thing is, if Bed declines faster, Save Your Tears could conceivably be #4 next week, but still go to ACR after climbing the chart for each week of its declining streams.
