This in my opinion didn't deserve to finish anywhere near as high as second place despite how catchy it is. But here we are. With no score lower than a 6 either, it gathered quite an impressive haul of rate scores to land with an 8.44 average. Not bad going at all. Of course this also means we know what #1 is and I'll be posting that soon. Cry About It Later is a bop though (even if I find it underserving of finishing so high) and it's clearly loved by her many many fans.

And there we have it. Your #1 (and let's be honest this was always gonna be the #1) is Never Really Over with an almost perfect score of 10.28/11.00. Not bad for a song that some people still dislike. This should have propelled Katy back into the stratosphere but alas, that was clearly never meant to be.

I'd actually say the song did really well considering the point she was at in 2019 and how badly the Witness era had gone, and restored some of her momentum. It's just that she immediately undone all that with 'Small Talk'.
