Posted June 12, 20214 yr Top 100 for the 12th June 2021 Pete's Chart Commentary Up until this week, Amy Shark and Nico & Vinz were probably the two biggest artists in my chart to not have a #1 to their name, which makes it even more fitting that one of them blocked the other from the top spot (although there's nothing saying N&V couldn't take it in the coming weeks). All this makes Allday, who spent 5 weeks at the top beforethis week, seem like old news as he falls out of contention completely. June 16, 20214 yr Nico & Vinz? Now there's a name (well, two names!) I haven't heard for a few years! The very definition of a one-hit wonder. I'll have to check it out, I'm intrigued to hear what they sound like now. Glad you charted The Vaccines and fairly quickly too, it's very unmistakably them which is no bad thing. Love how catchy the chorus is :D Elsewhere, great to see Ten Tonnes extending his top ten run and also to see you charting 'Crossfire' - that's easily one of the standouts on Rag'n'Bone Man's album and I wouldn't be surprised to see it pushed as the next single. Great chart!
