:kink: I only appreciated them a few years later!

Seem to remember Mel B exclaiming "CORRR" about one of the guys in the Volume 1 video

Me and Mel B have the same moto, if it's got a pulse it's got a chance.

Track 6: Move Over

The Pepsi advert was so cool, and I like the song, but I'm not sure whether this truly needed to be on the Greatest Hits though.

Move Over is weirdly placed on the GH IMO

I'd have saved it for near the end when it gets very ballad heavy

Track 7: Spice Up Your Life

:w00t: For me this is their ultimate song, and one of my favourite songs of all time! What an explosive start to the second album era. They perfectly captured the feeling of Spicemania with this song, it truly was a Spiceworld in late 97. It's just massive!

Spice up your life is euphoric and encapsulates just how massive they were at the time. The Olympics was epic them screaming spice up your life flying round on taxis. A weirdly dark video but I don't think I'd change it.

Track 8: Too Much

 Listening to this takes me back to Christmas 97, a happy memory for me. I received Spiceworld on CD, my very first CD - so of course I got my first CD player too.

My least favourite single Too Much, it's still an 8 but it plods along a little Too Much (boom boom). Mel C's middle 8 saves it.

The video needs a shot of them altogether too.

Track 9: Stop

It'll forever be a shame that this isn't one of their #1 hits! So glad it ended up becoming one of their most recognisable singles anyway, and it's gone from strength to strength in the era of streaming. One of the most iconic dance routines with those hand movements... feels like everyone knows it.

Still listening but Buzzjack keeps crashing for me while i try to post
What an absolute classic, Stop sounded dated and from a different era on reason so hasn't aged. The dance routine and video just add to it. Still total injustice it wasn't number 1.

This party being more of a threesome, then it became a twosome

To those of you who aren't taking part right now - if you feel like listening to the Greatest Hits later on, please do so and share your thoughts in this thread!

Track 10: Viva Forever

Absolutely beautiful  When I was listening to the Summer of 96 Radio 2 programme the other day, for some reason hearing this during the show made me shed a tear.

I have quite a strong memory of buying the CD singles of this, not necessarily a great memory though because I was being stroppy/impatient while at the shops with my parents, and my dad said if I didn't behave then he wouldn't take me to Woolworths to buy the single :o :o So I behaved, and thankfully got them :kink:

Viva Forever what a stunning song  my favorite pop song ever.
