Psychofreak is the best thing she’s released since her debut era for me . Willow lowkey ate her up on the song though she sounds so good on the Pre Chorus !
fits very well with the whole Spanish roots album theme :) not... :)

The album is awful but Psychofreak is unreal!

Personally I prefer the tone of Camila’s voice in it, although Willow is the star on it!

I'm gutted! Album is absolutely shocking bar the 3 singles. What has gone on here? The label have given up.
I like the album! It's not a patch on the debut but I like it more than Romance, which was solid but forgettable on the whole. Leaning more into the Latin sound across the whole album has worked in its favour. psychofreak is SERIOUSLY good, and my other highlights are Quiet, Boys Don't Cry and No Doubt.

Nah, this is a great album. Better than Romance and more interesting than the debut (which was too short to make an impact).

Psychofreak will smash if it's pushed as a single.

the album is just a bit limp??? i might need more time with it but i thought 'la buena vida' and 'hasta los dientes' were the same song so the fact there had been 2 songs in between was quite something...

i rarely say albums should be longer but i think the album needed to be 14 songs.

i can't really work camila out - she seems to want to put herself in the singer/songwriter vibe whereas she acts like a popstar?

I’ve always liked Camila and I’ve defended her on this forum back when she didn’t have *that* many supporters so I’ll always be interested in her as an artist and I do genuinely want to see her succeed and do well too.

I’ll start with the positives here, so psychofreak is seriously good like the type of smash sounding song I’ve wanted from her and I do hope it does smash because it deserves too! The album itself however didn’t really grab me or make me want to replay anything else psychofreak is the best track on it but it’s also the odd one out in the sense that the album is like this whole ode to her roots / family, Latin infused album and psychofreak is like the clear standout but thematically I don’t feel it fits although it’s personal it’s like the production on it what sets it apart from the rest of the album.

It’s not really a bad album as a whole but it’s very samey throughout like I struggled to tell some songs apart so to see another comment saying the same thing I could definitely see where that poster was coming from. GAH the thing about Camila is that she’s clearly capable of getting smashes and she is capable of selling tracks for me when they’re good as well but sadly as a whole piece the album is her weakest so far.

I think her short but sweet debut album is her strongest effort so far (I mean I take it the budget was higher on that album too) but it worked so well ten tracks all killer no filler (I mean this is a short short album too with just 11 full length tracks after the intro) but I was just waiting for more attack and after psychofreak I wasn’t really wowed again.

Psychofreak, much like My Oh My, reeks of label interference and them needing a hit on an otherwise single-free album.

this is my point with camilla... her 3 albums bar the obvious singles are completely different to what she releases... her albums plod through as singer-songwriter naff and then they stick 'my oh my' in the middle of it...

'psychofreak' and 'bam bam' are deffo new additions.

Whilst i'm not surprised at it's underperformance (considering there has been 0 hype for this album and 'bam bam' feels like a stand alone release) in the UK, it is surprising considering they have tailored promo around the UK

Yikes. Number 9 in the UK and number 10 in the USA.

Unless Psychofreak becomes a smash I can see this being the end of her mainstream success.

#10 is such a poor debut in the united states, I thought she would easily manage top 5 but she only managed 27k with 11k pure sales.
