Pretty overwhelming first listen but I enjoyed. It sounds like multiple different Kanye albums blended together - I could hear 808s vibes, Yeezus, Life of Pablo, MBDTF etc. Going to take a few listens to fully absorb but I think it's another hit for him even if it doesn't immediately reach the dizzying highs of the previous albums.

Travis got the #1 on the UK albums chart :cheer: !

Loads of tracks I'm loving now. MODERN JAM, CIRCUS MAXIMUS, I KNOW ?, LOOOVE, TELEKINESIS... and the rest hitting me with more listens too. I think it's another big hit for me from him making it 4/4!

Probably my favourite record from him to date. The standouts for me currently are 'TILL FURTHER NOTICE', 'HYAENA', 'MY EYES', 'THANK GOD' & 'MODERN JAM'.

 

What i'm most pleased about is that Travis didn't make another 'Astroworld'. Instead he went for developing himself as an artist.

Decent album, mainly in the production though. I find Travis himself (vocally & lyrically) the weakest part of it, and that gets a little tiring across the whole album. In terms of the recent US rap albums, I think I’d rank it below Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Durk’s recent releases.

For me this album is fantastic. It is most certainly one of my favourite records of the years so far, I'm really glad that the hype did eventually materialise.

 

The production is also the highlight of the album for me also. It is really daring, I mean what other rappers at Travis' level samples The Japanese House? The features are also great too; Teezo Touchdown, Beyonce & James Blake shine the most for me.

 

It has been crazy to see the warm reception to such a left-field album.

MELTDOWN is stunning, much more instant than SICKO MODE for me (although that grew massively after a few listens).

'I KNOW?' is officially the next single! It has entered the BBC Radio 1 playlist on the C-List and it has climbed to a new peak of #62 on the UK charts today!

'MY EYES' debuts at #71 on the UK charts today!

 

A video for 'TOPIA TWINS' has also been released today (one of the last songs I wanted a video for unfortunately :()

 

Shame that 'I KNOW ?' didn't go any higher than #62 in the end, fizzled out pretty quickly after entering the charts - 'MY EYES' is another one of the biggest standout tracks on the album for me though so we'll see if this one keeps its momentum up more I guess! Have been enjoying the dripfeed of new chart hits beyond the album release as 'TELEKINESIS' is my overall favourite song on the album too :heart: my other faves that haven't charted yet are 'TIL FURTHER NOTICE', 'SIRENS' and 'SKITZO' so any of those to have their viral turn next please x
