They did some great shoots for the Change era Honestly, I've always found the styling for 3.0 so weird as they seemed to alternate between over-sexualised and the secretary look. Do remember that the women in the Change photoshoot are 23/24 years old. I kind of loathe the word "authenticity", but at one point they lost that. With 1.0 and 2.0 they were obviously styled, but you could imagine them wearing the things they wore in their spare time. With 3.0 and forward that was lost. Clearly management completely took over.

Clearly management completely took over. 100%. Although they went for a more mature/polished look with Taller, it still felt authentic - more of a natural progression. Plus we could always count on Mutya to keep things fresh with her monthly change of hairstyle. There was still an element of individuality. With 3.0 that was much less the case. We only need to look at Sweet 7 in terms of their loss of control. All Around The World is a bop!!! Pre-shitshow I would have had it either Saturday or Today depending on how good DHL were that week. For anyone who has gotten the disc, how's the alternative mix for Sugababes On The Run? There is a few extra bits of vocals and ad libs in it but its the backing that is the main change. Its quite funky. The rapper at the start and the girls singing with him is gone. Overall it gives the song a very different vibe. More like funky pop than the garagey RnB pop style of the one we know and love. I prefer the Original Mix of this one, but I have been really really really loving this track lately so i might be a little too close to it to tolerate tweaking the formula at the moment :lol:
October 4, 20213 yr It was either on their Angels or Three era website - a press release that specifically named the track as being their big comeback single before Freak Like Me came along. Their website also mentioned another potential lead single called The Word (Miranda Cooper also discussed this in a fairly recent interview) at one point. I'll do my very best to track all of this info down somewhere! Do you know where I can find that recent Miranda Cooper interview?

This has nothing to do with the departure of Siobhan from the band. "The contract with the record company had ended and the record company decided not to renew it" a close source told Sugababes UK. Rumour has it that the Sugababes already have a new contract and a possible album track maybe called "The Word" but this has yet been confirmed.
