It was so nice to see them, it was funny!

Didn't really say much new but it was nice nonetheless! I honestly do not see them stopping any time soon, they clearly love being in LM.

LSL is killing the hype for this album :(

I keep thinking about Confetti and how so many were so excited.

I really want them to put out another single sooner rather than later because we need something to get us excited and interested (At least that’s how I feel anyway)

I know what you mean. I was looking back through their insta at the confetti album announcement posts today and it reminded me of all the hype around it and how excited I was.

However, I don't really feel much excitement for Between Us. The only thing left to look forward to is the 5 new tracks, but after hearing LSL I'm more nervous than excited to hear them.

I mean this in the kindest way possible but I wish some of you would just chill and enjoy the release for this time in particular, especially knowing it could be the last in a while. They don't seem bothered by numbers or hype so, honestly... They've already achieved so much and this flopping, even if it ends up flopping as bad as it is, is in no way as harmful as the streak of TAU-BB-OIBM etc was after a label change.

They've had a #1 and 4 Top 10's since, besides a massive collaboration which smashed.

There wouldn't ever be a lot of hype for their Greatest Hits outside of their fanbase.

I think they are going to do ok with the album, they have enough songs to possibly attract the attention of the casual buyer who may not buy their studio albums, i can see this selling in similar numbers to their last 2 albums but wouldn't be surprised if it sells more.

The album will do fine. The current single was out too early to actually promote the album. There is an 11 week gap between the two. It's like this was released just to give people more trio music and the next single will be to launch the album.

As many have said GH do well and I expect that there will be plenty of TV appearances around it. Plus nostalgia.

Girls Alouds first GH boosted their career majorly and became their biggest selling album despite there being no real demand for it at the time. It will hang around well enough as it'll have a single in November and probably another one in January (hopefully Feb) then the tour in April which will likely rebrand.

there are so many interviews - has anything of substance been said or is it the same sorta stuff? 10th anniv, LSL, between us - pregnancies?

Tbh no not really, just the usual like you said! Apart from where Jade said basically two other videos are filmed and she wrote a song for a 'Legend'.

Jade's interview on the Big Top 40:

Jade mentioned the recent Brit Award meant a lot to the girls to the girls to be acknowledged after turning into a three piece and that it was a hard year for them transitioning into a three piece.

Jade also mentions they forgot to add Little Mix to Between Us and fans kept tagging her about it.

Do you think there's something in the contract where interviewer and Jade are not allowed to mention it being a Greatest Hits, because it is like they're literally jumping through hoops to avoid it.

I think this is the most Jade has gone into it mentioning Greatest Hits, her and the girls were not so keen on naming it that it appears?

Greatest Hits sounds very final. I think this can definitely be classed not only as an anniversary celebration but with the majority of tracks featuring Jesy, putting a line under that era.
New Instagram post with lyrics of a song I suspect is "Between Us". With Jade implying there are 2 outstanding music videos, I wonder if they're planning another release soon - especially as album isn't out until about 8 weeks from now.
I expect the next single will come on November 5 a week before the album and a final single in January or very late December.

That would be the reasonable thing to do.

Seeing how successful they've been this year, I wonder whether they might be eligible again for best British group at next year's Brits? What are the chances they win it again?

Also, talking about the Brits, I'm not sure where Sweet Melody stands - it was released last year so don't think it can be eligible for British single next year?

Could Heartbreak Anthem with 2 other leads who aren't British be nominated for British single? The award will probably go to Wellerman or Body though.

I don't think HA would be eligible. SM would as I think it just had to have been charting during the eligible period.
