Nice to see "Industry Baby" again at the top, as well as the debuts for "We Can Come Together", "Cold Heart" and "Regarde-moi".

Although for "Regarde-moi", I do prefer "Never Going Home" more, because I like that song a lot. One of my favourite songs of the summer this year!

I'm so hyped to see Industry Baby nab another week at #1. What a bop! How amusing would it be if we actually had pink boiler suits in US state prisons though :lol: I think the video for this is my favourite he's done so far as much as I love the Montero one.

Essence is great and that's one that'll be joining my chart within the next couple of weeks.

It's unfortuy to see that Take My Breath hasn't grabbed you as much as I'd have expected it to. Where do you stand on the persistent use of 80's and nostalgia to fuel his career? I'm so happy to see him not straying from the last albums sound (at least in regard to this track.)

Cold Heart is of course a bop! It's smashing. I actually love Sacrifice. It reminds me of my dad (I actually can't standy dad :kink:) but I do have fond memories of him from the 90's when this song was out and I vividly remember how obsessed he was with Elton John back then! And of course, teaming up with Dua was a great decision! :cheer:

Haha! Yeah I'm loving 'INDUSTRY BABY' so much and am so glad that we have a release date for the album now, 17th September, not too long to go! Lmao yes we need pink boiler suits and Gaga's looks from the 'Telephone' music video to spice things up :kink: ooh cool, I think 'MONTERO' is still my favourite of his videos but his videography in general is great!

 

Ooh I'm glad that you're into 'Essence' as well <3 I just adore the chill out vibes.

 

I absolutely love the 80s sound that The Weeknd and Dua are incorporating lately! I guess the likes of 'Blinding Lights' and 'Save Your Tears' set such a high bar for me that this doesn't feel comparatively as amazing, but still another solid song from him. I hope he does continue down this lane though as it does suit him.

 

'Cold Heart' was such a pleasant surprise for me! The two songs go together really well and PNAU worked magic with the production style in general. That's sweet that you have some fond memories from the 90s! I've very recently watched Elton's TOTP 'Sacrifice' performance several times on 90s re-runs, as it hogged the #1 spot for a while :lol:

 

'Don't Go Yet' is really hanging around there in the lower end of the chart tbf :lol:
