Mutya on insta stories last night posted a pic of her old solo era font and the album name with the caption „exciting things coming“

 

 

What do we reckon it could be? A vinyl issue? An expanded edition with a bunch of the unreleased demos that were better than half the album?

Real Girl is honestly a bit underrated by fans - with that said, the demos Mutya herself posted on MySpazz were often better than appeared on the album, so that alone makes me excited about a potential Real Girl: Expanded release.

An expanded version would be great.

 

Dark Side and 2 The Limit deserve to be released.

I often forget how good Real Girl is I think because at the Time it was a Bit of a let down after the demos we heard didnt make it

 

 

I still stan Just A Little Bit. The album really had some great stuff on it but I agree that Darkside and 2 The Limit could have elevated it nicely. She seemed to get pushed in a particular direction that I don’t think was very Mutya which is a big shame. She should have been allowed to play with some more RnB and grungy pop sounds

How interesting! Really intrigued to see what this could be. I mean none of the videos were on youtube in a good quality last time I looked so maybe they will be re-upped?

Getting way ahead of myself here but what are the known leaked demos not on Real Girl that could potentially feature?

There was „Not A Love Song“ too which is only with a session singer and it was great, would love to hear a Mutya version of that

Those are my most wanted, too. :wub: I'd love an expanded version of Real Girl. It would be a dream come true to hear the unreleased material, and to have a better sense of what the project should have been.
