Through yesterday's horrible and tragic news, there's one thing that's never been clearer: just how close the Girls Aloud fan community is, especially on Buzzjack. I thought it'd be a lovely idea if we came together for a listen of their singles tomorrow night at 8pm (BST) using the playlist below, in honour of Sarah  I'll post each song as we hear it and I'd love to read all of your thoughts + memories on each track, I know I'll be sharing mine.

Would love to see you all there

No Good Advice is my favourite single from the Debut album

Sound of the Underground, where it all began  I remember hearing this for the first time on radio and being quite taken aback by it. It was sooo fresh and different to other early 00s pop music. So exciting! And what a triumph it was when it got to #1! Girls Aloud were treated like the underdogs, because it was assumed the boy band would easily do it. I had faith that the song quality and the overall package would tip it in their favour, and it certainly did.

The fact that it isn't too much longer until this is 20 years old, just over a year to go, feels so crazy to me.

May as well use this same post to comment on No Good Advice! Similarly this really hit me on first listen, with just how invigorating it is. It totally solidified the fact that I was going to be a big fan of these ladies. It was the first ever song I illegally downloaded, I needed to have it on repeat in the weeks before release! Of course I bought the CD when it came out.

I remember picking this up from Woolworths... I got the second edition thinking it had a good tracklist + the music video, but didn't realise it was a DVD not a CD! I returned to get the CD as well *_*
