I would prefer what the future hold, living in a lie and the slightest touch to something in your eyes which would be 4th for me.

I think so, but Part 1 has some great songs, it’s let down by a few not so good songs..

 

It’s close though.

I think part 2 feels slightly more upbeat steps.

It's interesting because if you were to ask this question on Popjustice, the vast majority would say Part 1. A fair few of them over there considered Part 2 to sound like a collection of left overs.

 

But us on here, including myself, mostly prefer Part 2!

I would be interested to know which songs were held back for the originally intended reissue. We know AHYOW was one of them but there’s got to be others.

There def has to be others and i wonder how many songs on part 2 were actually recorded for part 1 but didnt make the cut.

I can't find the post now, but I'm pretty sure that someone on Popjustice alluded to 'Take Me for a Ride' originally being intended to be kept back for the 25th anniversary release, before they decided to include it on the Part 2 album.

I'm glad it wasnt as the 25th anniversary, its not their best by far.

I agree, I’m very happy it was used on What The Future Holds Pt2. Hopefully this means they have something better lined up for the 25th anniversary.

I’m glad they got their asses back in the recording studio if TMFAR and AHYOW were the two main tracks for the re-release.
