I remember when Sugababes UK was an actual site. I think it died with Keisha leaving.
Oh no way is that where it came from? It's weird that singers and bands own websites would be so popular back in the day, now there's literally barely any point to them.

I just think with social media + Wikipedia the whole point of having a gathering place for all information available + a way to communicate exclusively with fans on a dedicated platform became redundant. It's like how forums have progressively died out with the advent of social media when it just to be such a big thing in the early-to-mid-2000s. Now it's mostly us old farts who use it.

Surely it's not as easy to talk to each other on an artists social media, the comments just get lost. :blink:

There used to be so many Sugababes sites back in the mid to late 00‘s. I remember a media one where I got a bunch of live MP3s from like rock at Rio and that

 

 

Back in the pre-social media days when forums were king

It was so much easier with just forums, like now everyone I hear gets things off reddit and I can't figure that website out for shit.
