Word of caution, on the download, it appears that the two Little Lady Love tracks are in fact the wrong way round and named incorrectly. The shorter version is the one that is new to us!

Ok, its midnight, so lets get this party started! (Join in whenever you're giving this a spin!)

I am just doing a quick whip through of the new tracks, need to be up before half 5 and its already gone 1am here...

Starting with "Sometimes"

It is so different from the clip i have had all these years. I can see why it didn't make the cut, it wouldn't fit so well on OT I don't think, but its cute. That Key Change was a pleasant surprise!

"This Is What You Need" - ok this is superb. Like seriously sublime. I am living for this

"Girl's Nite Out" - This is my instant favourite of the unreleased tracks. Can already tell i am going to be absolutely obsessed with this. The simple backing, the harmonies, the three of them chatting at the start/middle/end. this is stunning.

"Always Be The One" - Now this is very late 90's/turn of the millennium pop/rnb ballad and it works so well. Seen a few say this was their early fave but maybe im a bit too cold hearted this week to get into it like that right now

"Just Let It Go" (2001 Edition) - Now I have always loved this track, and I cant believe how different this is. I am absolutely loving it. That it beefs up the chords on the way out is a BIG win for me.

"Soul Sound" (Alternative Version) - this is FUCKING WILD Y'ALL. Its like a complete and total 180 and im kinda here for it in a weird way.

I'm in love. Also doing a run through of just the new stuff. Girls' Nite Out is so addictive. That and the original Little Lady Love are my favourites.

"Promises" Accoustic - Super cute! I love Promises anyway and this stripped back version is lovely.

"Little Lady Love" - after 20(1) years we finally get the original version of this!!!! Not sure it was worthy of a 20 year wait, but it is a revelation! Its so so good.

I agree with that! Those are the two best for me too. There's nothing bad, but the other two feel less Sugababes 1.0 in a way.

This is gorgeous. Not my favourite, but so unexpected for a Sugababes song. You can tell it's from the very early days, and yet their voices are still flawless.

RIGHT!? After hearing this mix, I'm convinced it could've quite easily been a single.

Soul Sound is gonna take a little while longer to adjust to!

100%! It's all impeccable stuff.

Have you listened to Promises (Acoustic Mix)? I'm in heaven.

Keisha had shared an alternative mix of this on her snapchat a few years back with Siobhan singing the 2nd verse and the drums were different on it as well.

I am really enjoying all of the new tracks and the alternate versions so much but yeah, Soul Sound might take a moment!!

Always Be The One is so baby Sugababes and it is to die for! As you say they sound so young and yet they blend together just so perfectly. This trio were meant to make music together.

yessss! its stunning

ohhhhhhh interesting theres a couple of mixes of it floating around. not entirely surprising they played around with it.

All the extra material is incredibly strong. Like, to me their b-sides have always been hit and miss no matter the era, so I was expecting some nice outtakes, but not a full alternative version of One Touch that is just as good as the original. I can't believe they've been sitting on this for 2 decades.
The C.R.E.A.M Remix of One Touch   It makes miss the instrumentals of the late 90s/early 2000s

Dare I say, Just Let It Go (2001 Version)>>>>Original

This Is What You Need is now one of my favorite Sugababes track in general

I'm glad we finally got the original Little Lady Love mix it's gonna take some time to get used to since I'm used to the About 2 remix.

Love Keisha and Mutya's vocals on Always Be The One, Tbh I prefer the production on the demo version Keisha shared on Snapchat

Girls Nite Out is a fun track, I crack up at the mention of Sisqo during the talking bits and the production is reminiscent of something Jerry Wonda/Wyclef Jean could have produced back in the day.

The Soul Sound alternative mix is just.... :o :o when I heard the snippet I was taken aback by differently it sounded to the final version.

Fun fact: Keisha was OBSESSED with Sisqo back in the day:

We think 'Overload' is the best pop single of the year so far. What are your favourite singles of 2000?

Keisha: Sisqo 'Thong Song', Aaliyah 'Try Again', Q-Tip 'Vivrant Thing'.

Q. What type of music do you like to listen to? - Mo

Mostly garage, R&B and Gospel. My favourite male R&B artist is Sisqo and female is Whitney Houston. Favourite rap artist is Eminem.

worldpop: Who would you love to meet?

Keisha: It has to be Sisqo. Because he's so talented. He's good-looking but he's talented as well. A really talented guy.

Sisqo

Kiesha: I love Sisqo, he's an amazing performer and he looks real fine as well. He's got everything, the hair, the voice, the energy. I have all the Dru Hill albums, but he has as much energy as the rest of the band put together. He can liven up any crowd all by himself, he blows up the spot everytime.

Mutya: He's so good looking, so lively and I'd love to do a duet.

Siobhan: I'm not really a fan of Sisqo. But music is all I've ever enjoyed, all I've ever loved. It's so good that we are able to express ourselves through music. My influences growing up were Madonna, Whitney through to the stuff my mum and dad liked. Beatles, Who, Kinks, Rolling Stones.

~ reason for break up confirmed ~

So Don-E also produced This Is What You Need and is doing the vocoder bits on the track, weirdly enough he isn't credited

What's interesting is Toby Baker isn't credited either on Always Be The One but Ron Tom is.
