I never expected a new video but it’s literally a black and white version.

Artists at least change up the video a bit...Its so bland.

To be fair they really didn’t need to make a remix video look even cheaper than the original video!

It’s so strange how muted this entire release has been.

It’s just odd. I get it’s not really a big deal but a vintage black and white video version of a remix?

Maybe an acoustic but none of it works and it just confirms how lazy everything’s been this time.

Have they had their last hit?

Not at all. Overexposure music wise (Fans aren’t as excited especially as this dropped with the album)

They can easily turn it around, a break and then come back with a bigger feature (Like HA) and follow it up with a banger with a cooler image like Sweet Melody!

They need more choreo based tracks and less shouty songs (I adore No but it’s very shouty in places - My friends don’t like it but Liked HA and Sweet Melody even BUS for instance - Obviously that’s a small group but usually the bigger hits resonate).

Shouty is probably the wrong word but it’s quite hard hitting with Jades I saiiidddddd....

I don't know, I just think lack of promo, bad play listing and bad videos have been causing this issue.

I understand why they didn't, but I wish they filmed the videos after they gave birth because the videos are just not it and very basic.

I hope they film another video before the inevitable break, but I doubt we will if they've already filmed a video for Between Us, which I imagine would serve as a final single.

Even though I don't frequently watch music videos, they definitely seem to make or break a song. When I think of songs like Touch, Power and Sweet Melody I instantly think of the video and the looks and the choreography.

I think they hoped that recording everything before they had the babies would work but it's kind of fallen flat. The No video is great for two of them being pregnant but just doesn't reach the levels that they need and I think has put me off the song a bit.

Just look at Break Up Song, a real fan favourite but is their worst performing lead single. If it had had the video it was meant to I'm sure it would have done a lot better.

It's bad playlisting. Which hasn't changed since I said 3 days ago. It's going to take weeks to build up. It has even worse support than LSL did.

Heartbreak Anthem didn't have choreo, yet it's amongst their all-time best-performing singles. Just saying.

Edit:

Actually, no, what's with this choreo fascination?

Apart from Sweet Melody and Touch, which other successful Little Mix single was choreo-heavy? I can think of Salute and Move, which even though were fan favourites, weren't as successful as many of their hits without choreo. Think of SOTME, Black Magic, Power, and even Reggaeton Lento. Even WLM just had the bit with books on their head and the INCOMPLETE chair choreo.

A video doesn't have to have choreo to sell a song. There are so many other creative ways to sell a song visually.

It had excellent playlisting and was released during the summer. plus it wasn’t released at a time where they were oversaturated.

Absolutely!

So I can't blame No's underperformance on the video. These right here are some of the real reasons.

Heartbreak Anthem also had a David Guetta feat who was at the time the 8th biggest artist world wide on Spotify (16th now)

Heartbreak anthem gained its own momentum pretty quickly though because it sounded so good in the summer. It’s just such an instant song.

No is very generic bubblegum (The Sats vibe) I’m just not sure if the GP are warming to the new songs...

I get the fact it’s had poor playlisting but it did have pretty good playlisting on Apple and I know it was confused with the remix but even combined it was only around 60/65 which isn’t great when LM always perform well on Apple over other platforms usually. Taylor was clogging up the chart too but even taking her into account they were around 50/55 with the tracks ahead of it.

I’m just not sure if these songs are connecting outside the fanbase. I do wonder if the Jesy drama and split rumours have made the public think they’re splitting soon so they’ve just completely lost interest?

Playlisting is bad but I mean it’s out the top 200 on Spotify and barely staying top 100 on Apple that’s awful even compared to LSL.

I know people say in the streaming era that TV performances etc don't matt but rhey really do. The girls are so good at performing and the fact we haven't had one this year has really started to show.

Every interview they've released is the same stuff over and over. I really hoped their first big project as a three would be...a big project but instead its given them their two least successful singles and probably their least successful album.

When I listen to 'Touch', I want to forget about the video.

Yeah I feel like they should have released Between Us first. Ballads always do better at this time of year and it would be a nice change of pace as they never do them.
