Yeah I feel like they should have released Between Us first. Ballads always do better at this time of year and it would be a nice change of pace as they never do them.

I agree with this - Between Us using the photoshoot as the video (which I think is what the actual Between Us video is) would've been a lot better - they could've even added a few jingles and passed it off as a Christmas single too.

Then they could've released No around March/April with a solid, choreo-based video and then went into the tour.

Ah well tis done now. It's all been a bit of a mess. Hopefully the public enjoy the break and get on board with LM8 whenever it is

Even on iTunes where they usually do well, No has struggled. They had apple music support in terms of playlisting and it's also struggling there.

Thinking about it again, I think the biggest issue here is over-saturation. From April to November, they've released five singles. Even the biggest artists will struggle to churn out five successful hit singles in 7 months. Typical example is Justin Bieber's Ghost, although you could make an argument for that as it is a post album single.

Whether it was No or Between Us, I think it would face same fate regardless.

I just hope the Between Us performance next weekend will help in some way, even if very little.

After the tour next year, I think they shouldn't release anything else in 2022.

B list on R1 from Friday woo, finally some proper airplay for the main version.

that would have been a far better idea... even though they seem to dislike 'love me like you', it's quite a GP fave around the Xmas period

If ‘No’ is going to be their last single for a while? I hope they don’t give up at the first hurdle, throw a feature on it, get a signed CD single out.
Honestly I don't like No. I prefer LSL or Cut You Off.

Completely agree!

Yeah I've not heard this anywhere bar the galantis mix once. And it's still 46 on HHUK. Wtf?
I heard the normal version on radio one driving to London weekend before last, and I started singing and dancing and almost crashed the car. My friends were furious but they shudda known 🙄

I still personally can't comprehend that people think this is one of their best songs or anywhere near the level of Sweet Melody.

For me 'No' is not even in the Top 40 of my favourite LM songs, it is a decent bop but nothing to shout out about. Cut You Off on the other hand :cheeseblock:

Really hope 'No' can recover somehow next year, it deserves to at least be a Top 20 hit.

Yes. For me these new songs all feel like the bonus ones added onto Glory Days Platinum Edition. They're all fine but they all lack.
