In my LP edition of the Coldplay album there's a download code. If I download this effectively free copy, does it count as a sale or will it not count because it was within the packaging of the LP?

 

Asking for a nerd who bought 1 LP, 1 CD and 6 cassettes for the pretty artwork...

I don't think they count as a separate sale, the downloads are usually from specific sites for people who've already bought the album.
