Nobody said that. But anyway, no matter what you write it won't convince me it's acceptable.

This has an echo of The Yorkshire Ripper about it, I wonder if they are trying to outdo his attrocities. But even he killed some who were not prostitutes, apparantly they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

 

There is every chance the longer he gets away with it he might move on to any female.

 

Whether you agree with prostitution or not, they don't deserve to be murdered in this way.

Does it matter though ? the deaths of 5 prostitutes is as sad as the deaths of 5 nurses or 5 students or 5 shop workers or whatever and I should think the last thing on the minds of the grief stricken families right now is how they made a living, some of them were only a year older than you

I will go back to the scenario of the milkmen, if 5 milkmen get murdered in Scunthorpe by a man who's wife slept with a milkman and in revenge the husband goes around killing milkmen is their deaths any more tragic than these girls ?? and if so why ?

i cant find any referance to anyone on this thread saying that they were 'only prostitutes and deserved it'.

they are human beings and should be treated in the same way youd want your mother, sister, daughter, wife to be treated. they are all someones daughter... if you wouldnt let/like your daughter to be screwed for money then you shouldnt treat these girls in that way.

People should not be graded in society according to their jobs though, there is going to be 1 place missing on 5 different dinner tables on xmas day this year and 5 families who's world has fallen apart, that to me is far more important than their employment

The streets are dangerous place, anyone can die at any time, its a violent world out there but I do not think prostitution is excessively dangerous, I would say each year far more students and schoolgirls get murdered than prostitutes

5 of them have got killed, they are being targetted in this situation. So it's more dangerous for them rather than normal people.

I think that to stop murders like this prostitution should be made legal but it SHOULD have to be carried in houses where everything is moniterd but you were saying girls go out on saturday night and get pissed and sleep with random blokes, then how is that different to going out and sleep with a random prostitue. I hope thy catch this person soon.. from what i have heard on the news i think it could be a lorry driver.

Exactly, Lucy your approach to the whole subject is simplistic at best and grossly misinformed at worst

 

I know driving my car is dangerous, at high speed I could suffer a mechanical failure or hit a bit of black ice and die, should my mother talk me out of using a car and help me ? people who walk in the dark particularly females and particularly late at night are taking risks, should their families help them ? everything in life is risky and prostitution is no more risky than any other aspect of life

If there were no prostitutes in the world,not one,what would the needy men do then? Some need it outside marriage or are too shy to get a girl normally.If there were no men using them they couldn't do it could they? There'd be more rapes if prostitution vanished overnight.
