Wasn't sure whether to put this in here or in Dance but this is the new single from the Manchester band trading under the name Porij (Porridge).

 

I've pretty much enjoyed everything they've released so far and “Can’t Stop” is no exception, it sounds very Clean Bandit circa 2013, which is very much a good thing in my book - now playlisted on 6Music too! It's taken from their debut EP Baby Face and is the third single from it following “Nobody Scared” (which was released in the spring IIRC) and “Ego”. This is definitely more dance pop than indie so won't be too fussed if it gets moved to the dance forum.

Absolutely love their new one, they're really interesting! No two tracks ever sound the same so I'm intrigued to hear more from them (plus Tommy Villiers now giving me two ways to enjoy his music along with piri)

 

Yeh this has been played a lot on the R1 evening shows and it sounds good!

'Automatic' is out today. It's another good'un.

 

EP called 'outlines' is out on September 7th. It includes Automatic, Lose Our Minds and Figure Skating, the title track is the only outstanding song to be released.
