Top 100 for the 20th November 2021

 

Pete's Chart Commentary

Amazingly, Nico & Vinz have never had a #1 on my chart before, this mainly being down to all their best songs coming before 2016 which was when my chart was founded. Anyway that is rectified now, with 'Trouble' being the fourth new #1 in as little as six weeks which almost resembles my 2016 chart! Where it differs however is that those four songs still make up the Top 4, and #5 is a number 1 from a few months back which has very much outlived the two songs which topped the charts after it. In fact my whole Top 10 is quite dull this week as only Trouble's entry and the 1-place rise for 'Wake Me Up' deviate from the trend of every song moving down one place. A future Top 10 hit looks almost certain for Daphne Richardson though as 'Eternal Eyes' shoots up a massive 24 places into the Top 20, whilst various other songs climb inside the Top 40 from outside - are we entering the season of the grower?

Not really surprised to see Trouble at #1 since Don't Be Afraid got a high debut on your chart.

Seventeen Going Under is still pretty strong here. Its appearance at OCC Top 10 last Friday made me interested in charting it as well!
