Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021:

76. Cash Cash - Too Late (feat. Wiz Khalifa & Lukas Graham

Release Date: February 19, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (8 weeks) | Peak: 18 | 50-41-24-18-33-33-38-42-x

This collaboration came to me randomly, it's another gem that I discovered just from flicking through New Music Friday. Lukas Graham sounds great on this track and it's got a proper nice drop aswell. To be honest I don't even mind Wiz Khalifa on this, it's a shame it's gone by relatively unnoticed as it probably would have done well with a bit of a push.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021:

75. Carrie Hope Fletcher - I Know I Have A Heart (from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella)

Release Date: February 12, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (10 weeks) | Peak: 26 | 37-26-28-37-49-x-49-x-37-31-30-x-38-x

Just managing a place on my top #75 songs of 2021 we have the first from ALW's Cinderella, with I Know I Have A Heart. This is your typical ALW ballad with huge vocals and a key change to boot. The vocals are from Carrie Hope Fletcher who plays the lead in the show. She is one of the highest regarded performers in the theatre industry. I've seen this show 3 times and she has blown me away every single time. A pure talent.

Like seeing "Wellerman (Sea Shanty)" on the list, even though I don't have and never will have TikTok, this is one of the good things out of it.

"Through The Night" is a nice song as well, hopefully Becky can make it a single someday. She definitely needs a top ten single, not just "Remember" being in the top 10, really hoped "My Heart Goes (La Di Da)" would've gone top ten, but sadly it didn't (at least we got a funny rant from Becky herself about it )

Yes, I am so gutted Becky never managed that top 10 with My Heart Goes, literally stuck at #11 for weeks on end. I loved the rant too

74. Lucy Spraggan - You've Let Yourself Down

Release Date: February 26, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (11 weeks) | Peak: 23 | 43-33-23-30-35-31-31-35-31-37-49-x

At #74 with another entry from Lucy Spraggan! What a year she's had for me, I will reiterate - this is probably her best era for music, we can expect a few more entries on this list I think. You've Let Yourself Down is a really good track, and more upbeat than some of her acoustic stuff. As you can see by my chart run, it didn't quite go top 20 but it did manage to stick around the 30s for a while after it's #23 peak. I'm looking forward to what's next for Lucy.

73. All Time Low - Monsters (feat. Demi Lovato & blackbear)

Release Date: December 4, 2020 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (9 weeks) | Peak: 25 | 36-27-25-29-38-37-37-37-45-x-44-x

Well never before did I ever think I'd chart All Time Low but here we are #74 with Monsters. This is typically a bit heavier (though I'd still class it as pop) than what I normally listen to, but it's got a cracking chorus and great lyrics. Teaming up with Demi Lovato and blackbear for this remix sold the song to me, as I enjoy listening to both artists. I've just checked and I'm surprised the song never charted to be honest. An honest bop imo.

72. Elton John & Years & Years - Its a sin

Release Date: May 11, 2021 UK Chart Peak: 47
Adam's Chart Run: (8 weeks) | Peak: 02 | 36-8-5-2-2-3-12-38-x

What a song we have here at #72. All you need to do is watch the video. Elton John and Years & Years teamed up on this cover of It's A Sin and my god it's fantastic. It's so relevant after the hit Channel 4 Series which featured Olly Alexander as the lead. (Did anyone else cry their heart out?), and they then performed this at the BRITs. The slow piano beginning transitioning into the synth-pop banger is so well done and Olly's vocals are insane on this. I can't recommend this performance enough, it's so so well done. Top marks to everyone involved.

71. Sia x David Guetta - Floating Through Space

Release Date: February 4, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (7 weeks) | Peak: 06 | 29-10-7-6-14-28-41-x

Up next at #71 we have another collaboration from Sia and David Guetta. They have brought us some great tracks such as Titanium and She Wolf. I've got to say Floating Through Space is down there as probably their worst collab. I don't think it's great at all and haven't listened to it since it left my chart. That said, I must have enjoyed it at some point for it to reach the top 10, but I'm not surprised it did nothing officially in the UK. Weak effort imo.

Big fan of Too Late so great to see that pop up here! As always I love a bit of Lukas Graham but they've gone a little downhill in recent years so I think being on a dance song like this was a really good move, my favourite from them this year by quite a way.

70. Rina Sawayama - LUCID

Release Date: November 25, 2020 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (7 weeks) | Peak: 13 | 33-16-13-19-31-45-x-46-x

As we enter the next group of songs, we have Rina Sawayama at #70 with her track LUCID. I'd never heard of Rina before this forum and I saw LUCID appearing on quite a few personal charts, so I decided to check it out and it quickly became a song I found myself repeating for a while. A huge banger and it's a shame it was released when Nightclubs were closed because it absolutely slaps. I liked her on Dawn of Chromatica too so I'm excited to see future projects from Rina Sawayama.

Release Date: March 19, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (8 weeks) | Peak: 08 | 35-27-17-8-19-20-27-39-x

We have another find from New Music Friday at #69, this time with Body by Michael Calfan. This is quite a generic track but it's still a bop and was released just before we were allowed to meet outdoors in pubs . It sounded pretty good in the Spring sunshine on our 'daily walks' and peaked in my top 10 at number 8. A generic bop but worth a listen if you haven't already!

68. Imanbek x Cher Lloyd - Baddest

Release Date: May 7, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (8 weeks) | Peak: 13 | 44-27-25-16-13-17-14-x-39-x

Well here we are in 2021 and I am charting a track by Cher Lloyd, never would have thought that but stranger things have happened in the world. It's a shame Cher abandoned everything in the UK to chase one song in the US. If she had put more effort into her UK promo she probably would have had a better career. It's a shame because some of the material she has put out in the last couple of years has been fantastic. Lost in particular is stunning. Imanbek works their magic on this track to give us a different sound to the normal DJ/pop collaborations, however the lyrics leave a lot to be desired.

67. Bebe Rexha - Die For a Man (feat. Lil Uzi Vert)

Release Date: April 30, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (10 weeks) | Peak: 06 | 31-9-7-11-21-13-6-13-9-29-x

Here we have possibly one of Bebe Rexha's best songs with Die For a Man. I could do without the feature from Lil Uzi Vert as I think he sounds dreadful on this, but it's a nice mid-tempo song from Bebe and sticks in your head. As you can see by my chart, I went through a long spell enjoying this track and still do to this day.

I loved Bebe's album this year and Die for a Man is one of the best songs on it!

So glad for the mutual love for Bebe! She's criminally underrated in my opinion!

Possibly one of my favourite songs from a modern musical. Spotlight from the amazing Everybody's Talking About Jamie is just beautiful and really sounds great when you're not having such a good day. I never bore of this song and it's a beautiful moment in the show.

65. Silk City, Diplo & Mark Ronson - New Love (feat. Ellie Goulding)

Release Date: March 5, 2021 UK Chart Peak: 65
Adam's Chart Run: (6 weeks) | Peak: 09 | 26-15-9-12-20-27-x

Coming in at #65 we have a large collab with Silk City, Diplp, Mark Ronson and the vocals of Ellie Goulding with New Love. In all honesty, listening to this track now - it's dreadful really. I must have liked it for a while for it to have made top ten but they may aswell have not bothered. It adds nothing to music and sounds exactly the same as many other dance collabs. I miss the days where Ellie was a bit more edgy with her music. Old Ellie music >>>>> new Ellie IMO.

Release Date: January 12, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC
Adam's Chart Run: (7 weeks) | Peak: 12 | 43-16-12-18-17-40-41-x

Zoe Wees
makes her second appearance at #64 with one of her most popular songs, Girls Like Us. This is another great track from Zoe and again her soulful voice sounds fantastic on it. A bit more upbeat than Ghost but I do prefer her voice on slower songs.
