Wow 10 years ago today Little Mix made history and became the first ever group to win the X Factor UK. They have gone on to become one of the most successful artists to come from the X Factor UK along with One Direction. Little Mix have cemented their legacy as one of the biggest girl groups to have ever come from the UK and of all time.

To be honest I didn't expect them to win until like, Week 5 when it became quite obvious. The show really needed a group to win to justify the existence of the group category and they were the best chance of doing it.

 

Still, though, I used to absolutely HAMMER the mp3's of Super Bass and I'm Like A Bird.

That was such a great series and did so well after the loss of their popular judging panel aswell.

 

I remember being on holiday visiting friends and as always was following it on digital spy at the time. Was so surprised but happy they won.

I didn't watch it then, and only watched the entire series recently. They were so cute and sweet, and were so surprised each each time they got through in the results show. If it was strictly about talent, I think Misha B should have won. But I'm happy the girls did, cos they've given us 10 amazing years - which would've been highly unlikely had they not won!
