'White Lies' is a bop but I feel slightly overrated, that album has quite a few superior for me.

'One Shot' is a banger, could've made a good single had the Wordshaker campaign not hit the kerb from the get go.

Still get sad about how many missed opportunities they had in terms of singles campaigns.
Both should have been singles and both would have been massive classics. 'White Lies' instead of '30 Days' and I know in my heart that if 'One Shot' lead Wordshaker, it would have been their first number one. I remember hearing whispers that they scrapped it's single release due to JLS releasing their 'One Shot', but come oooonnn, two of the members were dating, the publicity writes it's self. Oh well, can't change the past.
Not saying that’s not true but they could’ve easily led with One Shot in late 2009 before the JLS song was released. I do prefer it way more than Forever Is Over.

Three of the top 5 songs all have 'Up' in them.

'Disco Love' is one of their absolute best for me these days, an essential gay anthem.

'What About Us' was also such a deserving #1 for them, shame the wheels came off so spectacularly immediately after this when they were in such a good position.

It's a shame that Disco Love wasn't recorded until later on in the album, it would have been a great second single choice and an easy top 3, it really overperformed on it's release when it had little airplay and peaked at #4 behind three new releases.

It blows my mind living for the weekend is probably their most budgeted album with writers but also their worst.

It's an AWFUL album, such a mess. 'Lease My Love' is the only vaguely listenable album track and even that isn't exactly great. But at least we got three top notch singles from it!

I don't believe One Shot was ever considered to be the lead however there were multiple remixes, one of which ended up on Headlines ofcourse, I think it was considered as a single after Ego in Spring 2010, the same time that JLS' was charting.

Ah ok that makes sense. Sorry if I came across rude. It would’ve made a great single though.

Not Giving Up has aged like GOLD. Still sounds so fresh.

No not at all! ^_^

I know right, it's the song I listen to theirs the most of late and it still holds it's place on many of my playlists including driving and nights in.
