The 2022 edition is basically the 2021 edition but with an extra disc of songs which charted over the Xmas period. There’s a £4.79 price difference between the two so it would be like paying an extra £4.79 for an extra disc of songs which charted over the Xmas period

Yeah, that doesn't really seem worth the extra tbh!

Are they extra songs from last December?

It’s just an extra disc with songs that previously charted around the Christmas period but aren’t Christmas songs. It’s new for this year’s edition.

Expect for the 12" version of Band Aid. Some people class the Freiheit song on there as a Xmas song but I don’t think it is

Just seen the track list there yeh the 4th disk is random December classics!

I expect another week at #1 for Taylor Swift then, can't see Drake & 21 doing enough to beat her (having skimmed its tracklist it doesn't seem all too commercial particularly to the UK audience).

The Drake/21 album has had a much better initial reception than the last few Drake albums for what it's worth (this is not saying a lot mind) - but yeah it's probably bound to do better Stateside than here, I reckon it should be the highest new entry but not sure how it'll stack up to Taylor's 3rd week sales.

Daniel Avery in the iTunes top 10 :shakingcheeseblock: I was gonna say I'd love to see this giving him a first chart appearance but actually I see he had a #80 album in 2018 (a little before I started really paying attention to his music, though I did know 'Drone Logic' from BJSC before that) - fingers crossed for a return to the chart then. And interested to see how Joji does, his last album got to #6 and he's obviously had his biggest hit by far this era but for some reason I feel like some hype is still lacking around the album itself so I won't be surprised if it comes in a bit lower (only having 9 songs doesn't help).

NOW #1s is only at #121 as opposed to NOW Massive 80s Party which is at #5. I was expecting the former to be higher but saying that, it doesn’t always show up when you search for it. I think the latter will sell more in physicals whereas the former will sell more in downloads

Well it’s looking like Now 80s is selling more in downloads  not surprising really considering the demographics of each.

I can’t see the new numbered Nows existing in 10 years from now.

Pretty weak week for new albums considering it’s LateNovember

Eh, Dermot and Nickelback are still decent sellers.

Next week has Cliff and Stormzy who will both do well, and then Olly Murs the week after that.
