So… 2021 was another year with no album.

Now we are in 2022, do you think this is the year we are blessed with another full-length studio album from Rihanna?

I would be surprised. I feel like Fenty Beauty and fashion is Rihanna's comfort zone now. She makes a lot of money from it and has to do less work than if she were to promote an album of writing camp music, with profit margins being much less in Spotify era than in the download era.

With every era, it also felt like she was losing her passion to perform a bit and when I saw her live on the Diamonds Tour, the whole set looked like it was more of a chore for her (and she was very late)

I voted NO for this originally and I’m gonna stick to that for now!

I actually feel like pregnancy may make her vision for the album differently in a way as well like because it’s her first baby as well how she felt whilst recording new music initially will be totally different now so it could end up being a very different sounding project after all! But I don’t think this is the year for a new studio album.

This news re her pregnancy is amazing for her though and it’s actually excited me more on how this will change her sound in music. Like Madonna for example created her best album of her career when she become a parent and many other artists recorded great albums during pregnancy / early motherhood it’ll be so interesting to see if this changes her visually and sonically.

2024 or 2025 is my prediction for a new album.

Late 2023 a new single to promote a Greatest Hits then follow on with a new album.
