I dont think Line of Duty is great.

Derry Girls is pointless

Friends isn't even close to being almost funny

The Sopranos is overrated.

Ooh this is a NICHE start to the thread!

 

I’ve kind of just accepted it’s individual approach to narratives in the name of social commentary, but it’s definitely not an easy watch some of the time.

I’m not sure if it’s an unpopular opinion or just my dislike for the “genre”, but any show where you can basically SMELL the testosterone is not for me (thinking The Sopranos, The Wire etc).

I really don't like bro-sitcoms. I loved Parks&Rec and was intrigued when I heard the same people were behind Brooklyn Nine-Nine but when I watched it I just couldn't relate to the humor at all. Same goes to shows like Mythic Quest, Blue Mountain State and Ted Lasso. Surprisingly I have a strange fondness with Always Sunny though.

 

Another thing I can't stand is laugh tracks. I always cringe when I see these videos where someone's edited out the laugh track and it's basically just a bunch of mean people insulting each other with awkward pauses after every insult :lol:
