TTBOMH is an underrated gem from their new material imo :heart:

 

TTBOMH i agree is very underrated although for myself initially it didn't hit as strong as it did a few months later, initially it slightly went over my head and eventually i got completely hooked with that really feel good chorus.

Same here. The chorus is what makes this song such an uplifting anthem for me :heart:

In this section of my chart we find some surprises! First, The slightest touch is back. Why? Steps know how to cover a song and make it their own. This song is a perfect example of that and should’ve been a (small) hit if you ask me. I would’ve loved to have an official video for it though. At number 13 we have a song that’s entering for the first time. I got bored with Say you’ll be mine for quite some time. Lately it really hit me again and I really enjoy this charming song again. And those ‘gold outfits’ in the video are iconic ofcourse And last but certainly not least, Take me for a ride is jumping 8 places to a lovely number 12. This track gets a lot of slack which I don’t get myself. I love, love the 80’s vibe and the remix is even better.

I've come to not mind Take Me For A Ride. I went from Really liking it, then going off it. Now I think I've found a good middle ground.

 

It's not a bad song, I just think it gets flack as it was chosen as the lead (new single) from the album. Had it have been released later on or left as an album track I think it may be thought of more fondly. Perhaps that may just be me though.

Take me for a ride is OK but also forgettable for me, id prefer to see say you'll be mine and the slightest touch above it on your countdown and just like the first time much lower.

Agreed. I think the Slightest would’ve been perfect if you ask me. Could’ve been a top 100 hit and get the album campaign started.

Moving on to the first part of my top 10 we find a lot of songs that are dropping this year. Especially the top 2 are making a big tumble! But don’t you worry, I still love them all to pieces. I just played them a bit too much

Big drop for scared of the dark from its previous number 1, good to see the excellent neon blue and what the future holds still top 10 despite falling although I'm happy to see its the way you make me feel drop.
