I know James will be happy with this one I always loved this song and still do. From the cheesy outfits to the uplifting chorus! Shame it couldn’t be their second #1 as it fully deserved it imo :heart: Shame they lost their grip in other countries with this second era. I wonder why as the ‘formula’ didn’t change?

It would never come that high for me, I like it but it woukd be well below many others for me.

Its one of the ones didn't age as good as some of the others.

Riding the Latino wave back then and #2 in this countdown it’s the joyful Summer of love. Such an uplifting track with a colorful video. Love, love, love this song :heart: Shame they didn’t promote this one outside the UK as I think it could’ve been a nice hit for them in Europe and Australia.

I do like summer of love, it is different from all the singles and def is a song that should have done very well accross Europe for them.

I wonder if anything else from Steptacular would’ve worked. Since You Took Your Love Away as a ballad maybe? Never Say Never Again or I Surender perhaps?
