I still love it but sadly there was no place this year.

Lately is the only solo release in this countdown. Why? I have a weak spot for miss Scott-Lee and I still enjoy the track. Also, the remix of Heartbeat is back again. I love the more ‘urban’ vibe of this version. Other then that no big surprises besides Paradise lost. It should’ve been a single but for now there are other songs that I enjoy more this year.

 

Your thoughts?

Thats a big drop for paradise lost, thats the main surprise so far.

Heartbeat just doesnt do much for me at all.

Big drop for paradise!!! I'll have to think about my list, no solo ones would appear lol.

All out of love and claires never trust a stranger are the only ones for me outside Steps releases that could make an appearance for me.

I know :o Still, I enjoy the song a lot so the drop doesn’t mean that much too me. I think it would’ve scored better in general if it was a single. I have a weak spot for the Heartbeat video and this remix.

Paradise lost is better than so many of their singles although I do feel the song is more suited to the first 2 albums.

It’s indeed a very strong song that, in my opinion, was their only big miss by not releasing it as a single. I quite enjoy it on Buzz.

In this section we find a lot of (big) drops. Again, I really enjoy the songs..it’s just that I enjoy others more atm. The biggest surprise is To the beat of my heart re-entering (plus a new peak). I think this one is quite underrated. Such an uplifting song from their new material and typical Steps to me. The only thing that I would change is that there would be an official video for it.

Better best forgotten to low as is stomp both steps highlights for me.
