Posted February 12, 20223 yr As someone who seldom posts in any artist forum, let alone Lady Gaga, I was interested to find out what her favourite song was to perform. Has she ever revealed this in an interview before? What song do you think is her favourite one to perform live and why? This may be a question I open up about other artists who have their own artist forum in the future, but I chose to start with Lady Gaga first. Apologies if this question has been answered somewhere before.
February 12, 20223 yr Interesting choice of topic! Born This Way I think could be up there for being amongst her favourites. An artist who’s very much an icon for the generation of anyone who’s LGBTQ+ and having an audience at each show as well which will be very much full of people from that community (regardless of sexuality / gender just anyone who’s different in general) it’s an anthem what will always go off with the community of her fanbase coming together. Bad Romance is another obvious pick but I think if it’s going off what the song itself means to her Born This Way could edge it as it does perfectly describe her fanbase more than any other song of hers. I wonder if Gaga has ever mentioned her favourite song to perform live - I can't recall her doing so :unsure: It is probably the likes of Born This Way tbh, because that song will always get such a heartfelt, beautiful reaction from the fans. It was written for the fans, so to perform it live in front of them must feel so empowering and rewarding. Also the fact she performed it live in front of the Trump American Superbowl audience - iconic :coffee: Elsewhere, Bad Romance is obviously a regular tour number as is Poker Face which must feel like such a throwback for her. I wonder if more modern songs such as Shallow will transition into becoming her favourite to perform in the years to come, given how fondly she thinks about the whole ASIB era?
