Posted February 12, 20223 yr Uhsting's Top 50 More graphical version of my chart can be found on Crownnote: http://crownnote.com/charts/uhsting/uhstin...op-50-songs-142 wO1tzSI9OHg Chart commentary: This week sees a record 20 new entries and 1 re-entry. However, the highest debut does not land in the top 10 but just outside with Highasakite delivering another jaw-dropping ballad. There are a couple of upbeat bops including Leopard and Tiny Boy. I'm sure they will become an earworm! A couple of songs from national selections in Iceland, Israel and Italy make their way to the top 50 too. SLAPSLAVE jumps to the top spot this week with a chaotic but catchy song that resembles Charles Ives but in popular music. Anti-Lullaby edges closer to number one while Fly receives a rebound to number three. Last week chart-toppers Aaj drops to number four and another 2nd-week song I Am Sin rounds up the top 5. ICONIC and Stay Awake are the only two songs rising to top 10. Biggest riser goes to the epic B4 The Flight which is an interesting sonic approach to ballads. 1. Kobe – SLAPSLAVE [4-1] 2. February 12, 20223 yr Author Number One Entry tk6jir13Gcg This is a masterpiece. I really love the choice of instrumentation for different parts of the song and the song varies a lot that connects different memorable motifs together nicely. I love the bassline and occasion dirty sound hovering above. The last drop is jaw-dropping. Unfortunately, I'm held back by the artist as his tweets are very problematic to say the least, which prohibits me to enjoy this song fully. Highest New Entry A-F_zb3eIA0 Highasakite set the bar so high with Autopsy but Can I come home is magical on its own. The instrumental has set the scene really well and the vocals are just the cherry on top. I like how it flows without worrying about the structure of the song, and honestly it works well this way! Biggest Jump hw2DrkCB5V0 Ballads are often quite exposed because this is where your emotions are on main display. This song is unique in that the vocals aren't traditionally strong with exquisite technique but this kind of singing actually works well and oozes style. Hence, this has grown on me a lot! One to Watch AsBUQtBOmzU This is another special ballad and one that also takes some time to warm up. This does not feature extremely high notes or a WOW moment that tugs at your heartstrings. However, this feels very intimate which is typical of Holly Humberstone's songs. You could really relate to the singer here and I think she is destined to blow up big time!
February 13, 20223 yr Hi there Uhsting! I hope "London Is Lonely" could be huge, nice to see it debut in your chart! Great chart!

February 14, 20223 yr Hi Uhsting! :) Nice to see the under-rated Highasakite highest new entry, surprised they have never broken through as an albums act. Tanya hanging in there, Holly Humberstone new, the other highlights :)
February 15, 20223 yr Author Hi Uhsting! :) Nice to see the under-rated Highasakite highest new entry, surprised they have never broken through as an albums act. Tanya hanging in there, Holly Humberstone new, the other highlights :) Hi John! Can I come home is getting rave reviews in the forum and charted on some charts, but if they have yet to have an album hit, this song is the one.
