In most cases you already have another nation that should be easy to fall back on, if the other one proves to be too challenging. To answer your question, yes, you are allowed to withdraw at this stage in the competition. However, if you can't find anything and you still want to compete. Tell me (and this goes for everyone taking part) and I will switch your pair of nations with another pair that is free.

February 17, 20223 yr Not sure how well-known this site is, but maybe it's a bit of help with the difficult countries. https://popnable.com/charts/top-100-songs Apparently these are daily lists for all countries based on airplay. February 17, 20223 yr There are a couple of online song contests that bring a lot of the songs from lesser known countries to light so I recommend checking them out (and I'm in a few of them too ;) )

To be honest I could have picked any of about 30 contemporary house or pop songs that I've considered for the main contest in the past but I went down a different route instead with something South African that I got hooked on last year.
