All of the contestants for France's NF have been revealed and while there probably isn't a "Voila" level standout in this bunch, there are a few gems in the pack, namely this Sia esque-midtempo

And my personal pick, France's own regional dialect witchy rave pop number

But you can make your own minds up on the twelve songs in the running from this link here

My ratings:

1. Les chansons d'amour (10/10)

2. Fulenn (9/10)

3. Madame (9/10)

4. Ma famille (7/10)

5. Téléphone (7/10)

6. Seule (7/10)

7. Paris mon amour (6/10)

8. Il est où ? (6/10)

9. La tempête (6/10)

10. Chut (6/10)

11. Navigateure (5/10)

12. Nuit Pauline (5/10)

Really strong selection! I'd be happy if any of my top 5 gets chosen in the end.

Overall rating: 6.92/10

Top 5 rating: 8.4/10

Les chansons d'amour, Fulenn, Ma famille, La tempête, Nuit Pauline and Seule all went through to the final round.

I flicked through the NF and this was my fave but accepted it didn’t have a shot in hell.

I’m of course delighted!

I love the idea of this but the song itself is not yet coming together for me - I can see that it has the potential to go off on stage though and I'm glad at least ONE of the Big 5 is using their pass to the final and their multiple cultures in one, bigger country, to show off some regional culture - after the most French thing ever paid them dividends last year I guess they're ready for some experimentation.

Good stuff, VIVE LA FRANCE anyway and I want to and hope I'll like this more later down the line.

FFS France, this is exactly what we were lucky to avoid in Spain!

"Seule" robbed.

I'd like to call that JUSTICE actually.

My fav entry this year thus far. Absolute BANGER
