Thank god I absolutely hate

Ben

as a character, I like the actor though. Get rid of

Callum

while we’re at it.

I’d rather we didn’t go there with

Johnny and Callum

. Aren’t they supposed to have known each other for years anyway? Why would they suddenly be attracted to one another just because they now know they’re both gay? Felix is yet to have a love interest so how about having

Johnny

be interested in him?

Look I'm ready for Felix to get any kind of storyline at all where he's at the centre of it because it is long overdue

Gentle reminder about spoiler tags pls everyone!!

I'm not at all upset about that news.

I hate how the writing seems to frame Ben as someone we should be siding with, when he's often unreasonable, unpleasant and entirely unable to take accountability. The popularity baffles me so let's hope this is the final time we're saying goodbye (it won't be x)

I feel like you spoilered the wrong name in my post.
Oversight - I meant to do both as the original one was a big hint to the most recent news development
It seems more the actor was axed for his behaviour I wonder will they recast fairly quickly or write out the character long term.
Surely that’s just sensationalist reporting. The articles say the actor quit now and it would be weird if their behaviour cost them their job whilst Jessie Wallace gets a reprieve every single time.

I doubt it's bad behaviour, their contract ends and it's not been renewed for whatever reason, they maybe think they've taken the character as far as they can at the moment but I'd expect a return in the future

I'd also love to see more of Felix, it would be nice for him to have a love interest too but idk if I can see that being

Johnny

- We'd need to see what the vibe is from their interactions if they have any ofc.

I actually think with the Taylor-Bakers leaving it leaves room to bring in a whole new family which I am always kinda reluctant for but if they can have as much potential as the Panesars then I'd be here for it, maybe have them linked to Felix and Bernie as they really need to do more with those characters this year.

Edited by Linds.

They could bring in their cousins/ aunt/ uncle, to try and clwar up the Phil Mitchell mess Karen left behind!

Lol sorry but no at this Penny storyline. I know we've more to come to truly understand the mess she's in but I'm hard pressed to care for someone who was on screen for all of 5 minutes 16 years ago. I thought her and Jack had a tumultuous relationship? Certainly the picture we've been given especially during her first stint anyway.

Elaine needs to leave. What was that crying at the window? 💀

A comedown after the incredible last month was inevitable but the combination of Elaine's panto dame overacting, the hammy Penny, and Yolande giving the teens church flyers to hand out isn't exactly making for riveting viewing.

Maybe not a good idea to have NONE of the six in these episodes - what are they up to? How are they feeling? How are they coping with the guilt? Has Sharon fallen off the face of the earth? How is Phil coping with the revelation he has another son?

Elaine just gets worse!!!

I actually have high hopes for Penny, there's a lot of potential there but I'll agree the drug plot is ??? Like she was leaving Paris anyway, why not just abandon them somewhere and make up an excuse to Juliette or whatever, a pretty boring episode on the whole. Even George's parents coming back with that "revelation" was super pointless like he's right, he probably wouldn't have found out had they not said anyway. His dad must have went to the same school if acting as Elaine, Jesus Christ.

This. Not even a mention of any of them. I know we have storyline cycles and characters need to appear like normal but like I said the other day the timing of it all is REALLY off.

I always enjoyed Elaine but the crying at the window was atrocious. Surely she just needed to look upset?
Confirmed on This Morning today

The Six are back next week as building work begins on The Cafe and Alan Ford's character mentioned previously is Billy's father, Stevie Mitchell.
