They knew Isaac was going so why not give him and Lola a story where they break up or at least where they hint the relationship won’t last because of the distance. Lola being dumped by an Instagram post is very wtf and she’s back to basically being a background character.

ITs like they knew buy were to lazy to bother, Lola is very underused which has been a regular problem with the character but when used properly Danielle is a great actress.

And that scene in a nutshell is why bringing Jean home after what, a week, was one of the most idiotic decisions Stacey has made in her life.
At the bottom line of it all is just Stacey wanting to look after her mum, just like we saw 17 years ago when Jean first came into it and it's great that we still see that level of a relationship between them making it more relatable to real life. I can't help but feel for Stacey, especially when she just wants Jean to recognise that she's trying to help her

Apparently we’re getting a special jubilee them tune and the thought is just horrific.

I can only slightly accept this if it is played on trumpet by Natalie Cassidy.

Do you know what that was executed in the best way and both Charles and Camilla came across really well on screen. The jubilee theme wasn't tacky either

It certainly could have been worse I guess, but I hope that’s it now in terms of fawning over the Royal Family, I’m not a fan. It’s also an unrealistic depiction that everyone in Albert Square is but there you go.

At the very least, Charles and Camilla put in better performances as themselves than Ed Sheeran managed to in Yesterday so that’s something.

I thought it was one of the best ever episodes of Eastenders. Felt like such a moment.

But I’m a royal fan and fully believe they have all done so much for our country.

Chris Clenshaw making his mark already then  always happens with a change of producer. She's not exactly got anything to do now I guess
She never has anything to do! She was only brought back for Ben to get a child to interact with.
As an actress she is capable but she has got crap storylines and was always sidelined. I hope Chris reduces the amount of Ben screen time as he way over used so I'm hoping he will spread the focus across multiple characters. There is a few that do need to go unless they are given some good storylines,
Another really solid episode, Janine is just on form right now! Spent the whole episode thinking that was it for Linda and it has been kept under wraps
It’s hard to see how Janine will get out of this one long term. She has been cracking these past episodes but if she does ultimately get out of this, I do hope she gets storylines away from the Carters following Mick’s exit.
