I think everyone was expecting a winner contender from Switzerland.

Please god let it not be this.

I think it's quite charming in a 'boyband do a winter Big Band ballad as their Christmas single' sort of way and will easily qualify for Switzerland, but I don't expect them to get another top five. Maybe it will get a 'Love Is On My Side' type of result.

Releasing a song called Boys Do Cry on International Women's Day feels a bit gross.

If it gets out of the semi it'll be eaten alive by Italy, Poland and Australia.

This sounds like a rejected John Lewis advert song, flush
Not as bad as I expected - but the bar is very low this year. Could be this year's Portugal.

This is a mediocre attempt at ballad though :( Musically it is quite plain and against other strong ballads like Not The Same and Breathe (as well as both Gjon's Tears songs!) that has some variation with the choruses and verses and more grandeur in the instrumentation, this will be quite forgettable. That being said, the stronger ballads are on the other semi so there is a chance this could still qualify, but that looks unlikely. I think the message is really good and accessible but sadly that's the only place where points come from.

The ridicule towards Switzerland this year is absolutely sickening and I thought I would never see so called Eurovision fans make such revolting and repulsive remarks on an entry and an artist (all because Albania and Austria didn’t qualify). I just read he has received hundreds of personal messages attacking and insulting him, some even suggesting he "end himself".

It’s heartbreaking to see how this new (teenage) generation of fans behave.

he kinda deserved it* with the NFT pushing though

and giving us one of the most cack-awful and dull songs ever to grace the Eurovision stage, somehow getting through despite no redeeming features - even though I called it because this is very basic music that is popular with people who don't listen to much music (likely to say: 'that sounded nice') and therefore has AN audience. Not an engaged audience, but an audience. Also juries tend to have a track record of enjoying dull shite at times even though I would hope that they'd be above such a low-quality version of it.

The message of the song is really a nice one but it's a shallow take on male emotionality (which is a real issue that deserves a much better song) and honestly, he's trying to be earnest but I don't believe it. And that means it cannot work in the way it wants to.

*deserves the hate, not the alleged threats, which I have seen none of. People are allowed to hate songs.

I personally like the song and am glad it made the final

He performed it well and gave an emotive edge.

Albania and Austria both had good songs (I prefer the latter to both Albania and Switzerland) but neither performance was great.

Does Marius deserve the hate - no he does not. No one does. He qualified because he performed his song better. Good for him

It's a great song. Simple as that. It's been in my top 10 since I heard it. The staging is too dark though and his actions sometimes looked unnatural to him.

Delighted it got through because I really thought this was gonna come in the bottom 3 or 4 in the semi.

I can’t say I took to the song that much but he gave a lovely performance. As a biased half Swiss person I am glad they qualified. They have had a pretty rough record over the years.
