I can see another Shakin' Stevens track being on the extra edition more likely Lipstick, Powder and Paint

I wonder if we will get Atmosphere by Russ Abbott?

Edited by Mark.

Ha, I hope Russ will be on there, there's always a novelty song or two on the Extras. I have that single on 7" but be good to have it on a CD.

I'm actually more interested in the Extra tracklist for most of these, as while it's great to have all the hits in one place, I like having the rarely compiled stuff too.

I would say West End Girls and The Sun Always Shines On TV are more likely to be on Now Yearbook '86

They were both released in 1985 and both reached #1 in 1986. "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" was released in 1987 and reached #1 in 1988 but has appeared on both their 1987 compilations and none of their 1988 compilations so there’s a possibility

Yeah i know that but they were No.1s in 86 like Belinda and i know she has appeared Now 1987 Millennium Series so it's not impossible for January hits to be on featured on an album

representing the year before just that as they were no.1s in Jan 86 they're thought of as 1986 hits

Just found this on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/NOW-1s-Various-Art...s/dp/B0BH8GPH4B it is due to be released on 11th November. It was originally gonna be released on the 4th but it’s now been pushed back to the 11th. Obviously, it’s because they don’t want it clashing with NOW Yearbook 1985. I do wish they’d do a NOW #2s album with songs which peaked at #2. They ain’t done that yet. Interesting they got Ed Sheeran's Perfect on there. It was never included on the main series.

It's a bit same old, same old in terms of selection but I guess it has to be for something celebrating 70 years of the chart.

The Disc 5 sequencing is...quite something. Guetta and Ronson into Frankie Lymon, Bobby Darin and Dean Martin, then back to George Ezra and Robbie? Not to mention Adam & The Ants -> Boyzone -> Jo Stafford.

Looks like another NOW Christmas release on 28th October but with 4 discs instead of last years 3 discs https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BHLFCDWN/

Oh Disc 4 is an interesting one, Christmas period hits rather than actual Christmas songs for the most part.

I see this has been updated with the Ed & Elton song too, and a Mariah song, but not the big one

Looks like there's a vinyl release a couple of weeks later too.

Where did you see this? I’ve looked and seen nothing

I haven’t seen "Star Trekkin'" on a major compilation since Hits 6 in 1987. It’s good a good mixture of forgotten songs and some of the same old same old but not too much of it

Star Trekkin' is certainly a NOW first it's been a few non-NOW comps over the years since Hits 6

It appeared on 80s Anthems in 2013

Another song which I forgot to put on the list of songs which missed NOW Yearbook 1985 and could appear on NOW Yearbook Extra 1985 is The Waterboys - The Whole Of The Moon
NOW 13 is being re-released on 18th November which means NOW 113 will be released on that day too and we should be getting the tracklist for that next week. Only Phil Collins has been removed from the NOW 13 tracklist https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BJJ7B1HF I also reckon that the next full re-releases we get are NOW 15 and NOW 16
