I'm surprised Old Town Road isn't on there.

It wasn’t on the last one either and I’m surprised Jolene which is on there never appeared on any of the yearbooks

There’s a possibility that Dance The Night could appear on Now 117. Don’t forget that songs from the Greatest Showman which was released before Now 99 later appeared on Now 102 but saying that, they’ll more likely skip it in favour of Houdini but I’ll be surprised if both get included. There’s lots of songs which appeared 2-3 volumes later than they should’ve and on Thursday, the next spin-off if they announce one on Thursday will be either Now 80s Dancefloor: Soul & Disco or Now Millennium 2004-2005

I've not spotted Dance The Night on any of the international compilation series' yet either, whereas What Was I Made For? seems to have popped up all over the place. I suspect for some reason it just hasn't been available to license (nor have the Nicki Minaj or Charli XCX Barbie hits), but I'm sure Houdini should be fine to get.

As predicted, it look like Now 80s Dancefloor: Soul & Disco is the next spin-off and it’s being released on 23rd February on vinyl only which means they’ll most likely announce Now Millennium 2004-2005 next week but anyway, here’s the tracklist https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CSVDVRP4/ It seems they’re now announcing their albums 4 weeks prior to release date

Still plenty of time for much to change, but there is my first draft using hits and contemporary artists.

I watched a film earlier called All Of Us Strangers and in one of the scenes, the main character has Now 10 on vinyl and plays the record and Build by The Housemartins is the song that’s being played

Will have to watch that, thanks for letting us know :)

No worries and I couldn’t believe it seeing a Now album appear in a film. I remember when the Di Marco’s were in EastEnders and in one of the episodes, they had Now 12 in their record collection. And as for Now Millennium 2004-2005, I’m willing to bet that the first two tracks are Amazing and Mr Brightside

If Radio 1 won't even play a clean version of 'Kool-Aid', I'm not sure Now! will have it.

I’m sure Now will find ways of "cleaning" the song

So do Radio 1 though, and they love Bring Me The Horizon. But a sizeable section of the song would have to be taken out to make it "clean".

They’d probably mutilate the song like they did with Bassline Junkie for Now 84 if Now we’re eager to include Bring Me The Horizon

BBC News piece on NOW 40th from November featuring Limahl and youtuber and NOW collector Adam Martyn.

Now Millennium 2004-2005 due for release on 1st March. Quite a decent selection of songs which rarely appear but shame there’s no Gwen Stefani or U2 who were big in both 2004 and 2005 and I also hope that May or June, we get Now Millennium 2006-2007 but for now, here’s the tracklist https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CTBNNWP2/

Nothing says 2004/2005 quite like 2 Duran Duran songs.

One of which appeared on Hits 60 instead of Now 59 and the other only lasted two weeks in the top 40 which is why it was deliberately missed off from Now 60

Not a fan of the shade of yellow, or George Michael predictably kicking it off, but that's licensing stipulations for you!

It's definitely an interesting tracklist, the opening sections of Discs 2, 3 and 4 maybe make it look like the years were more indie heavy than they were. Of course, they were, but would have been nice for the R&B section to kick off Disc 4 maybe?

Some songs I've never seen on compilations before - Mario Winans (seems like a coup), Duran Duran's What Happens Tomorrow (whether it deserves a place here though is debateable), and the Eurythmics song, which I can't recall at all despite it being a top 15 hit.

Nice to see Delta get a spot on here with Out Of The Blue, and Alcazar!
