Thanks everyone! :)

#19 will be coming in the morning and it's a B-Side which can be considered an album track.

#19 - Just Like The First Time

I first heard this when it was included on the Australian edition of Steptacular, (which I got for Christmas in 1999) and it was an instant favourite. There was just something about the chorus that I loved, actually the whole song. I later got the VHS of The Next Step Live and discovered that Lisa had the majority of the vocal on this song and that made me love it even more. Still a very decent song and one I go back to from time to time. I'm also glad it manged to find it's way to a wider release of sorts as a b-side to Here and Now/You'll Be Sorry.

Its a shame just like the first time isnt on one of the main studio albums as it probably gets a little forgotten on the last dance album.

Any hints for 18?

I’ll need to check my list because off the top of my head I can’t remember.

I want to say it’s a single. I’ll check and confirm.

While it would be the last thing on my mind to include Last Thing on My Mind in my own Top 25, I think it's a good shout that it could be featuring here!

I'm not overly familiar with Just Like the First Time. I really need to rediscover their old album tracks and B Sides!

#18 - Stomp

In at #18 we have the lead single from their 3rd and last album from their initial run 'Stomp'. Taken from the aforementioned album Buzz, Stomp was released in the UK in October 2000, however it wouldn't get an Australian release until late January 2001. For me this saw Steps head in a slightly different direction with their sound and I loved it instantly. I thought the video was good fun and Lisa look great with her blue streaks in her hair and braces.

I really liked Lisa’s look during this era too!

Please choose LTOMM next!!

This was the Australian cover for Stomp. It'd be fair to say I was disappointed.

Choices were made that day… and they weren’t good ones!
